Miyao (宮尾) throughout the years - ATARASHII GAKKO! (新しい学校のリーダーズ)
Miyao (宮尾) is an phantom song by ATARASHII GAKKO! (新しい学校のリーダーズ) that they have been performing since 2015.
According to Rin, it is the first song that expresses a student's rebellion against a cramped modern society. This was also a homage to Franz Schubert's "Maou" that became "Myao" then "Miyao". They choreographed it themselves and it was continuously improved until it became the version that it is now.
It is not released in music streaming platforms as Suzuka believes there is a theory that "I haven't released it yet so you can enjoy it live." All their songs before their major debut in 2017 haven't been made into sound sources.

I've seen lots of videos about AG recently, but this one was by far the BEST to make me understand why they are so good at dancing been so young. The editing is not the best, but I really learned a lot about, Suzuka, Mizyu, Rin and Kanon. Thanks and cheers from Brazil.

It's really terrible how sexualised a lot of this kids stuff is. Especially the outfits and makeup they put Suzuka, Kanon and Mizyu in when they were young feel really creepy. I hope the experience of being in that sort of environment since childhood didn't affect them too negatively, they all seem to be in a place now that lets them experiment and be their authentic selves, though I still often worry wether the constant performing and touring and dancing they're doing isn't burning them out. All four of them are such talented and intelligent people and deserve to do what they love for a living without it destroying them completely. I wouldn't survive a day in that industry.
it is interesting that for many of the atarashii gakko girls they wear less revealing outfit on stage as they become older lol (usually it's the exact opposite). also my Japanese is not great but I think one of the judge was praising the sexiness in Kanon and her group's performance. sure the judge is female but I'm not sure the word "sexy" should ever be used to describe what children do

I'd like to know how they became a group. Were they recruited? Was there an audition? Or did they just meet and formed the group on their own?
hi! ag! was formed by asobisystem, so it definitely was like an audition/recruitment situation. unfortunately, i still have no idea how asobisystem works and how they hire their artists, that's why i chose not to mention it in the video 😔 from the info i found, only mizyu and rin had known connections with asobi before ag! debuted-mizyu was a backup dancer for kyary pamyu pamyu (an artist under that agency) and rin worked with asobisystem in one of their modelling projects. i still have no idea how suzuka and kanon came to be a part of the group since their activities weren't as publicized as the other two. it was mostly just local contests and occasional public appearances. if any enough information does come up, i'll try to make a follow-up video on this one! ^^

I kind of wonder how they decided on their current look or keyfabe for the group. Rin and Kanon are just themselves, but like, how or why did Suzuka chose to go with "plain Jane with glasses"? Maybe wanted a "class rep" type of look? Their creative process seems really interesting

I think their very average schoolgirl gimmick helps to contrast the energy they put into their work. It's visually appealing because you don't expect to see someone kinda normal looking like Suzuka be such a wild individual pop locking across the stage.

i am not sure, but watch "asobi asobase " anime. they but rin have same hairstyle as the main character in that anime. also the main character with glasses there has big b**bs, while suzuka obsessed with b**bs. and all of them act "crazy" like AG. and AG management (?) is called "asobi system" right? i doubt that was just coincidence.
