    Y'all better keep an eye out for QB Diego Pavia 6'0 210 NMSU/Vanderbilt. Last year while at New Mexico State University he lead them to a victory over Auburn. This year with Vanderbilt, Pavia led them to a victory over Virginia Tech. To me he reminds me of Johnny "Football" Manziel. With all the talent, but without the off the field problems.

    scouting shit ive learned go all in at the start if you want them, its better to spend 50 hours at the start than wait 12 weeks and have them use 15 every single week. if they have a dealbreaker but you have at least an A- in that spot you have a chance to get them. make sure your coach pipeline is in the state your team is. in midseason look for players with 0 offers and go all out.

    "If he's drafted by a team that cares about winning..." Well, the Bengals' o-line hasn't rated above 28th since they've had Burrow & what did they do to reduce the pace of him getting sacked, hit, pressured & injured at a faster pace than Andrew Luck was? They drafted one often-injured T. Yeah, they're winning _despite_ their managers.

    This draft is hard and I like your top 3 and don't really care about the rest...only because I am a Rockets fan. However, I cannot see how you think the Rockets trade all their Nets picks for Bridges. The following is a comment I posted on another video. I would like your thoughts on it. The Rockets will make a decision on moving JG by the trade deadline or risk to lose him for nothing, unless they intend to resign him. JG's play will determine this. I don't see them moving Sengun. Plus, trading Brooks is not gonna happen. I don't even see that the Rockets have been serious about getting Bridges or any other vet to replace Brooks. I believe that most of this Bridges to Houston is just rumors and a lot of it is Nets fans looking for ways to get the Nets' picks back, because they now realize how bad the Harden trade was. As for the Rockets, the only thing bad about Brooks is the length of his contract and that is not really a big problem. 3 more years, but it drops from 22.2m to 19.9m as the league cap goes up (another great move by Stone). On the other hand, Bridges' contract is also 3 more years, but it rises from 21.7m to 24.9m. That is 5 more million on the books in year 3 on a team that will be looking hard to save cap space anywhere, so they can keep as many of their young core 6 (7 if they draft at #3 and not trade JG) together for a long term run. BTW, (for after next season) Stone had positioned several vet contracts that can come off the books and this is very telling of their intended direction: FVV 42.8m (optionable), Adams 12.6m, Landale 8m (optionable), Jeff Green 8.0m and Tate 7.5m. This totals to 78.9m that they can split between Sengun and JG or just resign Sengun, which will give them more options with vets for the following season(s) and for resigning Eason and Smith...then Amen and Cam...then the #3 pick (I hope Reed). I think JG is the first odd man out, then they will have to decide again on the young core (more than once). Bridges only makes this good problem worst. In addition, I believe that the Rockets will keep Brooks for all the right reasons, he is an excellent glue guy, two-way player, including vet leadership and having great chemistry with Stephen Adams (for next season). The combination of FVV, Brooks and Adams is a huge positive factor (especially when you have only one year with Adams and Brooks together) for a playoff run next season, for which Adams and Brooks have done together twice as a 2nd seed in Memphis. This you cannot get with Bridges replacing Brooks just for a marginable increase of talent at starting SF...don't forget they have excellent options at SF on the bench already. All the moves that Stone has done are very calculated with the future in mind...this is oblivious and that is his MO, which he is not going to change. To me, Stone is the best (GOAT) GM that the Rockets have ever had and I have been a fan since 1972 when they came to Houston. I have seen all the rosters, coaches and GMs and right now is the best I have ever seen minus Rudy T and the two years they won with Hakeem. Plus, the Rockets have a great chance to surpass those years in winning...roster and coach...they already did on the GM.

      Clingan as a defensive anchor is more valuable than Rissachie as a movement shooter in my opinion. While yes neither of them can really create at a high level I believe the value as a low post rim protecter is harder to find then Zach’s archetype. I really appreciate the feedback tho as this is just my opinion.

      Risacher, as a piece to build with, is nowhere near as valuable compared to Clingan. If Washington doesn’t get him, Rockets will.

      We got two new TE's as well which has been a weaker position for us for a while now. Yall really revamped your o line in this draft though so your offense should take a jump as well.

    • @ChewsCarefully
      @ChewsCarefully 2 місяці тому

      @@chadrichards8930 This is exactly what everyone said after '22's draft. Even the TE Darnell Washington was regarded as much more of a blocker than receiver & has been used as such. The problem for the Steelers is they have one of The Weakest Receiver Rooms in the NFL _AND_ they traded Johnson who, while he wasn't used much Got Open. Getting open means defenses can't leave him unblocked. They replaced him with One Rookie. So the Steelers now have Freiermouth whose health is not the best, Pickens & a rookie. Last I checked only 1 to 2 rookie WRs break out a year. I don't know what the rumors of Aiyuk coming over were _for,_ but the Steelers actually have No Depth _ANYWHERE_ on their roster. So unless they start trading a _LOT_ of future picks, I don't know what their plans are. As Justin Fields' last True Believer & someone who understands what's wrong with Russ & that his problem likely can't be fixed, this is terrible news for me. One needs open receivers. Brady left N.E. *because* he no longer had receivers gaining separation. The Steelers are one minor injury away from disaster at Every Single Position. I have a link to an article of how their Entire Defense Suffered the weeks Watt was injured in '22. O-linesmen ususally take a Full Year to adjust to the NFL. Tomlin's streak is _VERY_ likely over.

    You didn't mention the Bengals as one of the "perfect" landing spots for him but I think he went to a perfect situation with them. Has a star vet QB throwing him the ball. Has 2 star vet WRs in front of him, & guys behind him who can capably play the #3 WR role. Has a strong lockerroom culture around him made up of captains, coach's sons, & "football boy scout" types in general who will be happy to call him out if he practices or plays with a lack of effort at any time. Also, I really don't see why you'd put the Ravens on the list. Good team, but a terrible record of developing WRs, with Zay Flowers being one of the rare exceptions. Good analysis overall

    Gotta disagree on the Denver pick. If you got a roster in a rebuild I don’t think that the best thing to do is reaching on a QB with little upside. It’s no problem for them to just take a year off where they are eating cap and pick a QB with a higher pick in 2025. I think I‘d go BPA

    Aside from the fact that no one got sued for libel regarding the article written about Sean McDermott, we can see with our own eyes what the problems are. & I _know people_ like McD. You didn't know any of this at the time of course, but as someone who has worked middle management & coached I've seen too much of what the NFL has: bruised egos instead of qualified coaches. Team owners are *business* owners. They do not know what makes a good or winning coach & when people don't know something it makes them uncomfortable. Shifting onto something familiar is the only thing that eases any such discomfort. So they view players as employees, coaches as supervisors. They want tyrants, not employee-friendly winning coaches. So they shove out Rich Bisacchia for Josh McDaniels, fire Marty Schottenheimer but Matt Patricia always has work. McDermott goes a little bit nuts under stress & even regular-season games cause him stress. He starts thinking that every voice outside his own head belongs to someone out to get him, even those of his own staff. As soon as the game ends & he's out of this reaction mode, it's as if he forgets the entire experience only to repeat it again every single time. Like I said, I _know_ people like this. I think that Diggs wants to call this out, but calling out one's coaches is career suicide & no coach will want you regardless of talent, so he takes it out on Allen. If that's his intent, to draw attention to the Real Problem, then it isn't working. Justin Herbert, Derek Carr in LV obviously are all suffering from this to a high degree. Lamar Jackson & Justin Fields may have both had cases where it was *intentional* with the Ravens wanting to avoid having to pay LJ8 the huge contract & the Bears wanting to move on to Caleb Williams. It's sad, but even Andy Reid forces His Way onto players & not what's best for teams. Had they never drafted Mahomes people might finally realize that he's only considered "good" because he fails less than many other coaches. But His Way never worked, ever. All that's changed now is that he's okay with Mahomes making him look smart.

    Having the Pelicans select a guard with a lottery pick shows you don’t watch the Pelicans. They just gave away a former lottery pick guard in Kira Lewis because he couldn’t crack the rotation. Collier wouldn’t be able to take minutes from GTA at the back up point guard spot. Using a lottery pick on a third string point guard is a waste. The Pelicans starting center is a free agent. Larry Nance gets the majority of center minutes. Center is the obvious position of need. Kel’el Ware won’t get pass the Pelicans.
