How to Repair Leaking Windshield Washer Fluid on 2003 - F150
My 2003 Ford F150 would not hold windshield washer fluid AT ALL!
Here is a quick video on how to swap out the pump. Often times, the gasket at the pump rots out and needs to be replaced.
Also, a fun collab video with @RRShop83 , be sure to check out his page and give him a follow! My trucks nickname is "The Green Bast4rd" and his lawnmower (that is always breaking down) has the same name!
Hope this video helps! Please like and subscribe for more as I work on my project truck!

Another man’s trash is another man’s treasure! Nice find and excellent video Sir!
@@RRShop83 and can’t believe it was free .99!
Looks to be a model 228. It says on the collar by the knob.
keep it up man that's awesome❤
Got to build a genie shed. That is janky. I made one out a Suncast or whatever Sun something yard shed box. Works great & sound dampening is amazing. Couple of vents, attic fan, rockwul insulation & audio sound mats

do you have a geiger counter?
@@bjornegan6421 no I do not Any concern?
@@FaubShop May have been interesting to check it out as thorium was used in many lantern mantles and is radioactive.
@@bjornegan6421 well guess I’m going to get one now! Worth a shot!
@@FaubShop There are some interesting videos on the thorium mantles that may be worth giving a glance at before spending the money on a geiger counter. But that often leads down the rabbit hole of geiger counters and radiation in general. Thanks
@@bjornegan6421 thanks for the info! I do not need another hobby hahah
Flux core is soooo much easier than gas
I definitely love the simplicity
Did you have to rebuild the plunger?
Thankfully no!
I have 5 of these. My neighbor gave them to me. I use them for camping and ice fishing.
@@crazyscott2646 definitely a great tool to have!
Dya wanna sell it me ahem
That old mantle you casually rubbed into dust between your fingers is most likely radioactive. I know because I use a Geiger counter to test old mantles/ new old stock/ and used ones. They were banned years ago because of the danger of breathing the dust and it radiating away in your lungs liver pancreas digestive tract causing cancer.
WHOA WHOA WEE WHOA that aint good 😂
I remember those putting out a lot of bright light 360 degrees
It's insane right!
Lantern collecting is a great hobby.
As a scout we still have those in 2024
Mmmm you can almost taste that thorium being burned off
Hold up wut
@@JRHicks1776 many 'old' lantern mantels are radioactive.
Stifle yourself. They are harmless, just don’t grind them into a powder and snort
When he said look at it, it’s disintegrating.. I laughed my ass off. They fall apart when you touch them when they’re brand new. You light them on fire and let it burn until it’s ash.
Hahaha oopise. Thought it was a part of the 70s feel. The more you know 😂
Shocked no one else commented on that
Checked the comments just to see! 😂😂
my dad has that exact one and let me tell you.... they never die!!!
My grandpa had one just like that. Thanks for the nostalgia hit.
Definitely something I’m holding onto!
My dad has this for when we went camping. It would light up a whole camp site
OMG. ALL mantles once used are just ash and will disintegrate when you touch them. Even brand new ones. Idiot.
$5? That's a steal.
I know!! Garage sale, people were moving in a week so massive purge
I love the tpb bit in this 😹 i must have watched it in its entirety 7 times 😹
Do you need to take special precautions due to the radioactivity?
Nah
Radioactivity?
Most people don't care. Just don't sleep on the bags or next to your balls.
@@RabbitsInBlack Now i want to see a geiger counter next to one
Man I had 2 of those growing up loved them, they don’t make things like they used to
Right! Battery powered is convenient… till you have no way to recharge. That fuel jugs got a lot more life in it than a battery
Any idea what happens if you don't burn the mantles in?
Not totally sure. It may just take longer to start and not as much light off the bat. I did some reading and was recommended to burn in.
No problem. I have always lit new mantles by lightning the lamp. Mine is from the sixties and still works just fine.
@@Patatafworks better IMO, gives outward pressure to help the mantles form, I try stretching mine before I burn them in but I still usually get one that looks like a tube instead of a tea-bag. Still works fine though.
This is awesome! Thanks for the help
A little touch of deer camp for you!
As Hammered as a nail
Woah the double whammie!
Only real handy men grind with no gloves on! Remember, safety always off and Dale no power tools!
I wear gloves with air powered cut off wheels and grinders. Risk of a cut of wheel exploding; gloves will save your hands. Being gloveless will not. Ive had a sanding disk explode before and it shaved off the top layer of some old miller gloves i had. Hand i not worn gloves id prob not have a hand or fingers
No LOOSE clothes around ROTATING equipment Its not about something covering your hands specifically, its about a potential for snagging of clothing thay can tear off appendages or pull them into danger.
I grind at the club?
Why is that a question? Do you not know whether or not you grind at the club?
@@thomasgreiner4910 unfortunately I do not know?
All depends if you like your fingers or not
Sooooo what ur saying is no?
@@FaubShopWhy would you think it’s no? Do you think the blade or disc will snag the glove?
@@chrisp9046 yes I’ve seen nasty vids of people getting snagged with either hair or clothes I’ve been told both for glove vs no glove.
@@FaubShop Tight fitting gloves can and should be worn. Although I’ve used a grinder wearing welding gloves and I’ve had the blade graze my gloves probably more times than I’ve noticed. Nothings ever happened. I’ve been gashed with gloves and they’ve probably saved me from stitches. To each their own. If you’re that afraid of a grinder, get the guard and handle on it. Hair is a no go in any shop/construction environment. I had a friend who had long ass hair and it got caught in a drill press. He had a bald spot for months lol. Be safe.
@@chrisp9046 holy crap!! I think some tight fit would be good. Also need to have patience and let my metal cool down. Hence the high temp gloves
