This Cat D11T Dozer, that accrued 21`000 operating hours over its lifespan, underwent a Cat Certified Rebuild - overhaul, which turned a heavily used machine, into a like-new Dozer.
Scope of Cat Certified Rebuild :
Total overhaul of engine, revision of cooler, new particle filter system
Revision of powershift transmission, and final drives
Replacement of torque converter, hydraulic hoses, various pumps and valves
Revision of hydraulic cylinders and oil cooler
New tracks, idlers, rollers, sprockets and revision of track tensioners
Repair and renewal of bearings on push arms and ripper
Replacement of wear parts on single shank ripper and SU - blade
New LED lighting system, and air conditioning system, new wire harness, various system updates and new painting.
The Cat D11T Dozer is used at a quarry where they are mining clay for a nearby brick factory. The heavy and dense underground is ripped up by the 105 tonne Dozer and loaded into Volvo Dump Trucks by a Cat 352F XE Excavator. Until recently, the ripping was done with a Cat D9T Dozer that barely had enough weight and traction to do the job efficiently.
