That's the main bits that let down the thou done , nice work - I'll look out for the video . The thou is a wolf in sheep's clothing however I prefer the 600 ;)

@@myyears6289 I bought a past girlfriend a brand new fz6r and rode it occasionally, great bike, then a pair of s1000r bmws which I believe she still rides today, of the many (70 or so) bikes I've owned the fazer has never disappointed, mine is nearly like new again (far better than new)and I still can't believe how awesome of a bike it is, who needs electronics anyways lol

Personally it's great in a straight line but Bernard rides again is the best to answer your questions as he can ride them properly . I prefer my fzs600 over it . I'm 5:10 and can flat foot , position is very comfy . Not done 2 up but Bernard does regularly

@@myyears6289 I did think of the six hundred but all my biking friends said to get the 1000 I like the bike very smooth power delivery! Not had a go on a six hundred but will try one when I get the chance!

It gets windy but not as bad as you'd think . Very little headwind when I had it off . Running sweet , goes a little better , better on juice but I haven't had time to compensate on the carbs yet so I'd guess it's running lean . Did you have to rejet your carb for k&n

@@myyears6289 nope. It runs better so I left it as it is. I had my carbs off last month and cleaned them though. Vast improvement.

@@bernardridesagain5722 that's same with pipercross . Would you just leave it then? Runs decent n goes better

@@myyears6289 if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Jetting carbs sounds either complicated or expensive. I think you need a sports exhaust to go with the filter for it to make a difference. If its running right as it is then I'd leave it.

@@myyears6289 I finally got my bike repaired and got a new setup for doing vlogs. Name a time and place my friend and we can do this.

@@myyears6289 first my fork seals, replaced along with new fork tubes. Then my throttle cable snapped, carbs off to replace it. Then my fuel pipe split after work on the carbs. Finally got it all repaired and my rear shock dumped all the oil from the damper. I fit a new one and noticed my front tank bracket has snapped. I gotta chill out on the bike I think. I ride too hard. I got a new lid, bought an external mic and adapter. Got a cardo pack talk and rigged it all up to record my voice while riding and any group chat on rides. I spent a fortune but worth it.

@@myyears6289 its a beautiful road that way out. I usually stop just before ramsgill. There's a nice picnic spot opposite the reservoir just a few miles up from Pateley Bridge. Nice video.

Went from Harrogate to patley Bridge, across to Grassington ilkley etc made a decent loop. Ooo very nice mate :D

@@myyears6289 I went through Grassington up to Hawes, on to Sedbergh, then Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, down hardknott pass, then home via Skipton. My bum hurts.

I think there's a lot of difference between the 600 -1000 , I have gained a bit more confidence on the thou so will do an updated comparison once I get comfy :D thanks for watching 👌

Unfortunately I got rid of it before I had chance to. However I have had 2 of them n will always have alot of love for them. Brilliant bikes, incredibly reliable even when being ragged to death and the air cooling seems to be more then efficient even when going off road riding 2nd gear. Highly recommend the Blade. Not had any experience with the efi but carb ftw! May get a third
