Cluckin Nuts Homestead
United States
Приєднався 14 лип 2023
Hey y'all, welcome to the Homestead....Cluckin' Nuts Homestead & Rabbitry started when we decided we wanted more from our food that what the commercial stuff could offer. So, in 2020, when all the world had gone to hell in a handbasket, we jumped into gardening and chickens. Which soon turned into an obsession to want more. So, we packed up our little family and moved from Utah to Tennessee and then in 2024, we found ourselves back in Utah. At the moment, we're homesteading on a family members 2 acres, but soon hope to expand. So come along with us, as we learn to care for our critters, gardens and so much more.......

Do you come to Arkansas at all?
We don't do much traveling these days, but if you're interested in Milk dud we would work with a transport company for you to get him.
How far are you. I would love to have him.
We're in southern Utah
You look great. It looks like you are loosing some weight? Anyway you look great
Thanks. Yes, I've been slowly able to get some of my weight off.
Cute names!
Thank you! We like to have fun with the names of our animals 😀
Lovely goat love watching babies being bornx
It is definitely an exciting deal
Will the goats eat that plastic mesh wire? I almost got that and i was afraid that they might
Ours have nibbled at it, like tasting it, but no they have never eaten it.
Looks like you have a big helper there
I was able to get a start of my herd. It is kind of nervous 🫦🫦
Yay! What breed did you get?
They are SO Pretty
I love them all
I am so glad to find you again.
I've been wondering if you've been seeing our new goats and all.
Definitely gonna try this. 😊
It turned out so good and it was such a yummy combination. I'm sure you're going to love it!
😮😮😮😮 I NEED NOW
They are just so adorable!
I know
We have three mama's due any day!
We have 1 due the first week of May. I'm really hoping she's carrying twins.
New subscriber here...great channel 👍🖐
Welcome! ☺️
I cannot believe you are selling Jewell. 😢
We have to. Because of rush of our move, we're not able to take everyone. I wish I could. It's been a hard decision to make on who to sell and who to keep. It does break my heart 💔that we are selling her, but we know she is going to a good home where she will be loved. I'm grateful we are getting to take a little bit of Jewel & 8-Ball with us with little Ladybug. 💞🐞
@@CluckinNutsHomestead yes. I did not know you were moving. I am so sorry that you have to sell them and move. Will you still be doing your videos?
@@karendemorrow Yes we'll still be doing videos. We're planning on taking Gizmo, Eclipse and now Ladybug with us, plus a breeding trio of our rabbits. So, there will be lots of content to come as we rebuild.
@@CluckinNutsHomestead I am so glad. I will be watching. 😃😁😃
Hoping it works out.
Me too. We're really stressed and upset about this sudden change in everything we had planned.
Cuties!
Thank you
Good idea with the bed springs
Yeah, we had to come up with something quick to keep her in.
Oh boy!
King of the hill! Could you create a bit of a climbing obstacle course for them!
They have things to climb on, she just likes to escape on us regularly .
I am KING of the mountain... oh wait how do i get down now??😂😂😂 They are so cute!!
❤❤❤
I think you’re doing fine. A farm is a full time job, daylight to dark. So basically you are working 2 jobs, plus you have a family. Don’t be discouraged. ❤
Thank you. I just get frustrated when videos don't turn out right or like I would like them, especially due to time crunch.
1/2 cup per pint jar or quart jar?
1/2 cup per pint. I've never tried canning beans in a quart size, but I'd think it would roughly be about a cup.
Can't see you words over the printed messages
It's hard sometimes to get the words lined up right.
Can you come to my house and make some bread?? I would take two loaves please.. 🙏
Lol. Making sourdough isn't that hard really. I'm planning on doing some sourdough videos soon, so if I can do it, anybody can. Trust me, my life is crazy and sourdough bread is the easiest thing I do.
It's good to use what one has at hand to block the wind 💨 and the cold 🌨❄️ Stay warm as well.
You got that right!
Happy New Year🎉…It’s 2024, The Year Of The Open Door…Many Blessings To You And All Who Reads This…The Door Is Open To ALL Who Wants To Walk Through It…God Bless
Oh and your brown bunnies ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We we're really excited to finally get a litter of Chocolate Silver Fox this last year.
You are doing great on your videos. I just started watching you a few weeks ago.
Thank you so much!
How is it going my dear. Your rabbits are so beautiful. But, more that that, I Love Jewel, your Nigerian Dwarf. She is SO beautiful
Thank you. Yeah, we really love our Jewel, she's such a sweetheart. Things are going good, lots of plans in the works this year.
👍
He'llo, first time watching your videos, great videos, please keep updating for the rabbits, love them, I want to more about rabbits. Thank you!
Thank you! Will do!

Freezer for the Candy Canes? ❤
I tried that after the video, but it really didn't work too well. I'll just have to keep trying. Lol 😆
Oh my…. What kind of rooster do you have walking in the background towards the end of the video. WOW he looks beautiful ❤
He's a German BielFelder. We really love this breed, the hens are good layers and great mothers and the roosters can be really sweet. We've only had problem with 1 rooster and he ended up in the stew pot, but the one you see in the video is a great rooster. He even lets my toddler be around him without any fuss.
They are SO Beautiful ❤
Thank you
I Love the silver goat that you have. Are your goats registered goats?.
Not yet. We currently only have non-registered, but moving into registered is our next goal. We definitely love our Jewel, the salt and pepper looking one, she is a super sweetie and one of favorites.
Hello. I just started watching your channel.
Welcome!!
Will never eat a goat!
We actually like it, but a lot of people don't.
Goat is really good, especially cooked in curry.
@@bradjon7231 I have not tried it in curry yet. Something we'll definitely have to try.
Im surprised you don't like the waddles! From what ive heard they can be very popular and can be worth a lot. (Which doesn't matter)
I just never have. They look funny to me and they can be a pain when you're shaving your goats for the summer. My husband likes them though.
Yummy oh yes the 💣 bomb ❤ great video
If you want to grow as much as your climate allows of your current diet then no. If you are willing to adapt your diet to what you can grow and raise you can get there. Yes, provided you have enough space. So research not only cooking methods and recipes but also different diets and how to apply them. Likely with some land you can raise enough meat to live on a carnivore diet for quite some time for instance. Knowledge is key, both of what is possible and what you want to do and do without. Or not do without like chocolate (or other essential "food groups"). But yes knowing how to adapt and what is essential.
True. You have to adapt to every situation in a homesteading lifestyle.
Happy Farming madam... New subscriber here pls.thank you and Godbless 🙏
