After 5 months of trying to get my orderd 2021 Chevrolet Camaro LT1 from a dealership in NewJersey, I finally got a 2022 Camaro LT1. From a dealer in Baltimore Maryland. I put the order in July 16,2021 and got the car in September 20, 2021 as a 2022 model. When I put the order in, from what I read on the internet, that GM was not building camaro in early 2021. The side markers that illuminate that you added make dead sure no water can get into the connection as it can cause you alot of problems . Please look into that .beautiful car . The Camero with Alpha platform is way way supported to the others . This is a nice car for twisting. Look at Camero ZL1 1LE Nuremberg ring 👍

      No Transmission issues. But the run flat tires are noisy, and it's my fault the car sit for months at a time due to my job. But after about a hour of driving they seem to guite down. I'm still under the factory warranty and I have never shift the transmission manually. Nor have I use launch control, not even when I went to the drag strip. If I keep the car I might put an extension on my warranty, that only if I keep the car.

    I failed to see the logic on why you would get the LT1 when you could have easily have gotten the four cylinder turbo which would have Aid your primary purpose of having this car which would be just cruising around and the performance of that four cylinder turbo is excellent my only dislike about the 4-cylinder turbo would be the audio that four-cylinder sound coming out of the exhaust, and of course you could spec the car out anyway you wanted, now if you doubt the performance of the four-cylinder Turbo let me tell you my four-cylinder turbo at the track after some tuning I've got it into the 12.70s that's V8 territory, now since I race my car I just placed an order for an LT1, looking for more performance and a V8 Rumble.

      I paid 38,935.00 and I like ordering, because you can make it your original design, it's like a fine painting a beautiful picture, that is your designed and you can make it a 1 of 1 if you put the Wright or the wrong options in it. I was watching Barrett Jackson and this 1969 Camaro came across the stage and the person who order it back in 1969 built a 1 of 1 camaro based on color and options.

    Hot1le told me about a link called The Drive Inside, He has a good video on how many camaro that are just sitting at Lasing Grand Rapid camaro and caddy assembly plant. There waiting for parts or for car that are ready to ship to dealers. So the good news is that there built, the bad news is that they haven't shipped, do to, as they say a lack of parts. I heard that there are parts problems. Well my answer is ship the cars and tell the dealership that we will send the parts to the dealership when they come in. As long as the parts are not a safety concern. It give the customer a real honest answer, and give the customer a feeling of GM cares about keeping future car byers.

    I Might be ordering another camaro hopefully, just talked to Bob Bell chevy where I purchased my 2022 camaro LT1, and will be testing the efficiency and skill, once again of my sales person. To see if he can make lighting strike twice. I love the steps that BLUPRINT_1LE, put out there for future camaro byers. So if he can make it happen within 8 weeks like he said plus or minus a day or too, I will be ordering a 2023 camaro. I here alot of comments when it comes to ordering a camaro, about time build and delivery problems, and weather GM expects the order or not. Also Hot1le had some great 👍 advice also about purchasing a new camaro. When Monday comes 6/20/2022. Yes I want to help guys and girls who want to order cars. There is a guy on UA-cam called BLUPRINT_1LE and he has some great advice on ordering and purchasing a new camaro. Most dealership tend to not waste there allocation on slow moving vehicles. They tend to want faster moving vehicles, that won't sit on their lots. In other words they would rather order SUV vehicles because they tend to sale better and faster. And they in this market love to mark vehicles, they call it market adjustment. 🙄 when I order my camaro at time of ordering my car, I ask the sales person are you marking up this car and he said no so I put the order in. Clarification and documentation, and a signature is very important. And then you wait. Hopefully this will help.

    • @Osotc777
      @Osotc777 2 роки тому

      No the dealer didn't add a separate option sticker, to the car, only the window sticker. And I paid full window sticker. No discounts, On the car, I did qualified for one discount but didn't have the paperwork from my job so I purchased the car without any discount. And it would require me to go back to New Jersey 2 1/2 hours and back to Maryland. To finish up the paperwork. With the price of gas and tolls I would have never got any discount on the car. But after I purchased my car, I seen dealership marking camaro LT1 up as much as 7,000 dollars over window sticker. Hopefully this answers your question.

      Thank you 😊, you are correct, with a drag radial I think the car would be in the 11 second range. But just a little concern about breaking the rear carrier unit, axel, drive shaft, just watch a video where Hot1le said that GM wants 4000.00 dollars to put a new clutch pressure and throw our bearing. In his camaro ss ile, and GM would not cover it under warranty. And the problem was reported when car was first purchased. That's why I only run in street tires. I had some bad experience with my local Ford dealership back in the day when my t-5 transmission went in my mustang. Now once the warranty is over LOOKOUT, IM ALL IN, but in the meantime and between time, I must behave. Lol 😆.

    • @ScizzyGibbler
      @ScizzyGibbler 2 роки тому

      @@Osotc777 Yeah that’s actually one of the reasons I ordered the automatic. I’ve known a few people to have problems with their manual cars, even direct from the factory who then get screwed out of warranty when the dealer says it’s an abuse problem. In my instance I was just planning to swap the rims/tires out if there was a problem. Luckily it’s one of those components that’s super easy to swap before you take it in for service. From what I know anyways the rear end is the same as the SS which comes with a wider rim/tire combo anyways but I don’t blame you for not wanting to deal with it. I won’t be touching any performance related items on mine until it goes over warranty either. Hurts knowing a tune, intake, headers and e85 can put another 75hp on the car and I can’t touch it for 50k miles. Lol

    • @Osotc777

      @@ScizzyGibbler Yes your right, it seems to me that any warranty issues that come to the dealer related to a camaro, Corvette or blacking caddy, that deals with the proformance side of the car, seems to me to be denied under warranty claims. That's just my opinion. I remember one of my friends having a Corvette and he took it to service and because the dealer saw rubber in the rear wheel wells they denied his warranty claims, and black list 😒 his car so no other dealer would fix it. He traded it in and purchased a Grand National. I don't feel like a arguing with some service person and raising my blood pressure because they won't fix my car, So I stay stock. @Osotc777 2 роки тому

      I look at the camaro starting back in 2016 and test drove one back then. And collected brochures and information from 2016 until current day. But financially I wasn't ready. To make the purchase until I sold some of my cars. And I'm so glad that I waited. Because the LT1 wasn't available until 2020. And the 2016 SS camaro costs, back then, more money for the way the dealer were equipping them, And the LT1 came with the 10 speed transmission, which was a game changer in the proformance and gas mileage side. And compared to the SS camaro which I think is awesome. For me it's a bit pricey. But you get way more standard features with the SS car. Especially in the safety and eye candy areas of the cockpit. And for me I was really chasing the proformance at a inexpensive price.

Go to one of the rental car companies and rent a SS camaro for weekend to see in real time what the gas mileage is like. It's cheaper than buying the car only to get shocked 😲 about the gas mileage.

      @@Osotc777 Update: I placed my order for my (most likely) '23 LT1 a few weeks ago. I went Riverside Blue & M6 with same interior and wheels as yours. Now we wait to see when GM will pick up the order... Thanks for showing the gray interior! It really influenced me to get it instead of the all black.

    Sounds like a man who knows what he likes. I don't like cleaning wheels either.
