To answer the chat questions: 1. ​Lime and hemp we would, in the UK, call hempcrete - usually used in wall construction. Limecrete = hydraulic lime, sand/aggregate, and fibres if necessary. In this case glass fibres. 2. It can be very wet in the UK, but this site, on a cliff by the sea and 155m above sea level, was very wet indeed! Not every building in the UK would be built in this way, although tents, or hats, as we call them, are not uncommon on large buildings.
