What a stupid and misleading title!!! Sorry, but Budapest is not a trash city. Absolutely not. Why dont you ask somebody whats happening? ANNUAL CLEAN-UP , every year one time you can unload your unused things on the street one exact time a year. You can see the trash is orderly and next day or two that will be collected by garbage collectors. Thats it.

Totally wrong! One day every year, residents in each district of Budapest put out large item and other trash that is restricted from being put out for pick up on a weekly basis. As a result huge amounts of household items are collected in large piles in front of every building. Groups go around with vans and pick through what has been placed out as garbage. When pick up occurs, not only is the household debris taken away but the sidewalks and streets are broom swept clean. Great that you can make a video, but SHAME on you for deriding a city and culture that you are TOTALLY IGNORANT OF. The prevailing comments and sentiments written in Magyar say - do not come back! I agree!!
