It is one of the most cynical decisions I've seen in years, sorry. All of the structural issues were issues they COULD have and SHOULD have hashed out properly. The truth is that Disney corporate cannot see a body of water without seeing "wasted space." I think people are freaking out about it, (including me) because all of Frontierland was deisgned specifically in tandem with the River. Haunted Mansion was not designed to be next to a Car racetrack. It was designed to be next to a giant, sweeping river
