Donovan’s 3 against Providence Sweeter
Fair.. I like the one against X more cause of the crowd begging him to shoot and he swishes it
I can't believe that with Paige on the team for her 5th year that the Locked On crew is consistently misspelling her name.
i just saw where it was in the description. I apologize. We use dictation software that sometimes spells it as it sounds and that's on me for not proofreading, it's fixed. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
Bro how do you say the names incorrectly? I heard it and my jaw dropped
Because I’m a human being. I’ll continue to work to get better.
for context, even at times when I know how to say a name, I question it, it is just part of being flawed as a person. It's meant with Zero disrespect. When the team does their media availability guide for 24-25, I'm going to download it so I can see it phonically. Appreciate the comment, truly do.
Really looking forward to the season.
Ashlynn shade was also Big East Freshman player of the year.
sure was
All her teammates say jenna is a dawg and has major energy
Don't forget about Q Sammals Gino's always said she has the most potential
Def won’t!
Go Emily! Go Paige!!! Go Huskies!!!🎉❤🎉
As a UConn fan, I had repeat doubts after losing 3 starters. After last years dominance, somebody has to prove they can knock what Hurley has built out of the tournament. This years team should be deep.
Strong and El Alfy are the only two with All American potential imo. And UConn is consistently being outrecruited by both South Carolina and Southern California imo.
Opinions are welcomed
Don't sleep on Ice
love ICE
Yes. I think this team is super motivated to make history and I think they know they are a super talented group that's been playing big east style basketball in practice since June, ie. They are gonna be confident. Congrats Mark on 3K!
Thanks for your effort. A bit of criticism, if you're going to do the Uconn Women, please learn how to pronounce their names. You butchered Carolyn's last name (the "e" is silent) and Allie's last name (Zah bel, not Zi bel). Otherwise, I appreciate you taking on this task of putting out content on the women's team.
Well it’s also Caroline and not Carolyn.
Peter i butchered Youssef Singare’s name before i got it right.. its 100 pct unintentional and ill get it right. Appreciate the constructive criticism and feedback. Can I get some love for the proper pronunciation of our Ecuadorian recruit 😂
Again I will Make adjustments..apologize
@@becc1097 Indeed it is. Thank you for the correction.
The media guides have pronunciations. They are available on the UConn Athletics website.
du-sharm…
it's been noted and will be corrected the next time i utter her name. Thank you!
It's going to be a fun season. It seems like there are going like 8 super good teams .
UConn got the Horses and Coach Hurley & his Assistant Coaches are Great at developing their Players ! I'm All In ! Big East Beast & 3-Peat ! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
We still need at least one more big. If Jana goes out for any reason, long term or short, our tallest player is Ice at 6'3". Granted we have a lot of players over 6 feet, and the game is changing, etc. but when players get tired at crunch time, tall players don't get shorter. It's been ages since we've seen UConn really dominate down low.
Fair pt..
Mark rocks, Bleed Blue from NC !!!
I just don’t feel like almost 20% of coaches predicting a final 4 appearance is an insult.
It is if you consider UConn has made the final 4 in unbelievably dominant fashion
@LockedOnUConn my response would be that it's very hard to make the final four. I think people lose sight of that sometimes. Not only do you need great players and great coaching. But you usually need a decent amount of luck as well. Now they didn't need luck on the court the past two years because they were so much better than everybody else. But they were definitely lucky when it comes to their health.
that doesn’t look like paige 🤔 misleading title unless she transformed
Who's Bianca Quinonez? She's not on Hoopz?
She’s Ecuadorian. Phenomenal!
Between work, and my oldest basketball recruiting visits, I haven’t had a chance to catch up. Oh this day off! I’m 🔒 on 🐾
I heard nothing about Ashlyn Shade.. Don't count her out,. She has great work ethic.
Absolutely will not!
I agree…I am 15 minutes in and have heard not a word about Ashlynn-best freshman last year!
Not a word for Ash Shade? She bailed them out early last year.
She’s going to get plenty of pub I promise
Let's hope Ice starts. It's important for rookies to work their way in, get the feel of the standard, avoid early injuries, etc., No matter how good they are. Also, we are going to need Ice this year. Great commentary by both. UConn is still the best - just look at them all in the W. So great the way Geno has come through the massive changes in women's basketball to still be a great coach. How good would it be for him, Paige and Aaai to win it this season? GO Huskies!!!!!
If UConn were to join the ACC would it help stabilize that conference and lift it up? Many of UConn's long time rivals from the old Big East and across the country are there already, so it has a "home" feel and it would be a sensible place for team travel as well.
@@jamesdaigler3909 if the cause of their instability is FSU, Clemson, UNC, and UVA possibly leaving for the Big 10/SEC and likely Pitt, VT, and/or NC State going to the Big 12, I doubt we stabilize the ACC
Emily Adams is a terrific knowledgeable guest with a great sense of the UConn team and good judgement, You can't go wrong having her on the show.
Couldn’t agree more
I want Paige to win a title before she graduates so bad. Especially because that means one more for Geno+Dailey too
Sarah reminds me of number 24 Kerry Bascom - same strong body type who can displace the opposing players , same height, same athleticism, same offensive prowess - great shooter (inside and out) great passer, tenacious and relentless rebounder, reliable rim defender even at their height. All the intangibles of a leader. Can take over a game.
I know Paige is the star player but I want the supporting cast to play tough. I don’t want to see the Paige teammates be intimidated by her anymore. They should shoot the ball with confidence.
Bravo Mark on 3k...Husky from old Fielldhouse with Corny & Mike McKay..Coach Calhoun & Now Coach Hurley going for 3peat...Bleed Blue..Storrs rocks @ Gambel🎉❤🎉❤😅😅🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m a husky from old Hawley Armory with Coach Greer. I love your show Mark. Pay no attention to the boneheads in the boneyard. Nothing but beer guzzling couch potatoe know it alls.
3K congrats brotha
Mark, love your channel brother! We are about same age, and I grew up in Montville, been rooting for UCONN since early 90s and am so excited going for three-peat this year. Lmk if you ever need someone on to talk ball!
Great pickup. How many slots do we have left as far as 2025 recruits and who do you think will sign next?
If you're not willing to call out the dudes tampering by name, zip your mouth. Nobody cares about your little passive aggressive grievances.
This football team, I'm 2-0 thanks to you Huskies. I got on them again. LFG!
Welcome to the UConn family, Daius. The most devoted fans, a crazy college basketball state and a place where all we will suppot your dreams and watch you grow to the player you wish to be.
If Samson Johnson makes that kind of leap where he can be an effective option on offense like Oso. Hurley will be seen as the big men whisperer. EVERY decent HS big in the country will want to come to Storrs...
If it does it’s almost like he develops them over time…and tells them the plan.. do this for me and I’ll make you a pro..
i was at the open practice last month yusef and samson look good real good
So cool! We live about 10 mins from La Lumiere w our Huskies flag waving 24/7 Great get!
I’m pretty sure 247 dropped him down to 4 stars. Not sure if they only allow for a certain number of 5 stars or something. They moved Mullins from 4 stars to 5 stars. Maybe they had to drop Adams down. Just goes to show those rating systems are a joke
He’s top 15 in so many ratings he’s a 5 star by more than not but who cares
Awesome news! Great player and a solid person!
Couldn't agree more!
Meleek Thomas is not coming to your trash university 😂😂😂
lol
Aren’t you a ray of sunshine?
I’m Curious what you think Isnt trash if a 2 Time national champ and 6 time championship program is trash 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Your school is even more trash. Or did you max out in high school?
Mark what can fans do to h,help get can the man on you podcast !
Just keep making us undeniably.. tell friends to subscribe and spread the word.. cause the higher our numbers the better chance we have at getting higher profile guests
Darius Adam’s committed 🎉🎉
Jordan Hawkins….. ran everywhere …… Adama sonogo RAAN everywhere. ISAIAH WHALEY (voice cracks) the wrench!
FYI~ As of Sunday Night Vegas & ESPN have UConn Huskies over Syracuse 50.5%; winning out their season going 10-2 and bowl eligible by November!! They’re catching peoples attention!! Go Huskies!
Matt Brock needs to get on more interviews, he’s the best defensive coordinator uconn prob ever had and no one knows anything about him!
Cant bet on uconn unless you go up to mass to place it
Wish justin joly didnt leave woulda had 2 scary tight ends to add to the offense
He’s going to regret leaving…
FSU looks horrible, 1-4. Uconn is doing way better than a team that started in the top 10
Buffalo? They play football?
