I am a native New Yorker who rented several apartments before I bought my co-op. You are very lucky that you can make any changes - I wasn't even allowed to paint! Also, I could be wrong, but your living room and bedroom both face south (the view of the Freedom Tower) so shouldn't the other window, facing the ESB, be facing east??
not me thinking of buying the same light fixtures for my home when i was at home depot the other day. LOL. no but im really curious on the fixtures you 're going to choose. im subscribed!
A suggestion re the AC-units. Instead of contact-papering them you could encase them, like some do with radiators?

I was thinking the same thing because when I had my apartment, that was no-no, you can lose your deposit….unless you are buying

I tried to use the pvc trim on the window but I can't get it to stay on .. any advice ? Does it need heat ?
