there are much easier ways. bad
I already have an 85mm equivalent for my a6700 so would this be good to start with?
thats good bro, dont need the macro lens, my suggestion for the next lens for you is 35mm
is the photoshop backdrop replacement necessary for e-commerce product photos? It's not achievable with the flash? Its a pain in the ass to cut hundreds of products besides retouching all of them already
all talk, why dont you get to see what the srobe light looks like? all you get is him talking.
Can you get similar effect with just iPhone and maybe ring light or natural light don’t have all the lighting equipment yet. I do have photo shop
Wow simple and effective
hi jacob exact same thing doesn't work well in case you got color background instead white
Hello my friend, Great and informative video, please I would really appreciate it if you read my comment and reply. I do cooking videos and I would like to find Sony camera lens that is able to take 4k image to a cooking pan from about a meter away to avoid the heat and the splashing oil but at the same time to be able to zoom very close to get a micro image to the ingredients. I would really appreciate your help.
awesome video...curious....did you say GUA-JIAN blur? lol - It's "GA"....then "U"........correct sounds like gau-see-an
Enrolled! Can't wait!

OK! THX
Too bad I don't have a light, nor the money to get one.
What an amazing teacher ❤ positivity on 100% 😂❤
I thought it was free but apparently you have to make a account and it’s only temporary free thanks for the video glad a didn’t do it 😊
I messed up somehow lmfao, the color isn't coloring, i used yellow instead of red, like you did. But it's showing up on white and also the product isn't that sharp, i.e., zoomed in
wow amazing! definitely gonna try it!
Great vide , great channel
Do you have any course on photoshop for food and product photographers? I wanna get better at editing 😊
This is just amazing, thank you! Works even with soft shadows!
Very good,,, wait for the next upload
Can a amran 60d constant light with apature lantarn softbox be also usable for foodphotography?
Love this mate!! Do you usually shoot doing normal opening hours or set up the shoot in after hours to have your space?
Good video.
awesome video! I love it. Thank you for sharing all the info and tips.
very helpful video :)
Straight to the point tutorials, thank god!!! i've been following you forever on insta and found your channel by accident, loving it
1:50 is camera settings
Photoshop needs to make an easier way to do this.
Tell me about it. 💀
so helpful 🎉
Nice tutorial for people trying to learn how to edit food BUT i think you went way overboard on the edits. I understand wanting to clean things up and you absolutely should touch up food photos but food isn't perfect. The ingredients shouldn't be so clean cut. There should be visible "flaws". If you make everything perfect than the food looks like a fake plastic prop. For anything CGI related you have to mimic real life and real life has flaws and imperfections. Not shitting on the video at all. I would just pull back on the perfections.
No food photographer who is a working food photographer would ever use motor oil, nor would their stylist, unless perhaps for a stock image. Usually, the pancakes are indeed sprayed but with something like Krylon clear spray. As for the syrup . . . if you are shooting an ad for syrup, you had better be using syrup, because if anyone ever discovers the duplicity (and stupidity) . . . there will be one lawsuit after another. Standard practice for syrup is one of two things, boil it down slightly (doesn't work for light syrups), or the usual, which is transfer the syrup to a drip type dispenser bottle (better control for the pour) . . . and put it in the refrigerator for a short bit. That has been pretty much standard practice in any studio I have been in which shoots food . . . and I have been shooting food commercially for over forty years.
Great tutorial!
awesome video and great energy ! can you suggest a lighting setup i can do for shooting watches ? i do flat lays for my website. my camera is a sony a7riv and lens is a 2.8f 90mm macro. currently just using a little light box on either end, but its not the best. thank you Dmitri
It's work on clothes?
When the job finally brings in the first million dollars.
This is the best version of this I’ve seen by far! Haha 😂😂😂
why the hell is your audio balanced to the right. how do you screw that up?
the video is not even a minute long, stop crying. plus, its on the left you genius
This is really helpful for my drinks photography! Your channel is very educating and entertaining, I had to go back to your oldest videos to see what you were up to 3 years ago and I lt didn’t disappoint 🙏🙏🙏
You should have kept all those original shadows from your first shot otherwise to me this final product looks too fake I don't like the look of it.
I'm stuck it doesn't make the object black when making the initial second shadow. Its selected but when I make it black nothing changes and it doesn't show up as black.
this guy don't want to teach
@@user-bp2rx8ec2x Looks like he hasn't done a recent vid or maybe he is busy and doesn't get notifications. I do vids and do check my comments. Would grant some grace.
Congrats mate, well deserved. Btw do you have a list of gear you use somewhere?
This is a good method DEPENDING on your client. Most clients are ethical and you will be paid your fee/expenses. On bigger jobs asking for an advance to cover expenses is usually expected by the client. If one is to use your method it must be stated both verbally and in your estimate that payment is due upon receipt of imagery. Otherwise the client will not be happy.
Wouldn’t a 35mm show distortion if used for a flatlay?
