Kayak Fly Fishing
Welcome back to the channel, I’m back with my first bass fishing outing of the year! I wanted to get out early in the morning to use some topwater flies in the kayak. Casting a fly rod in the yak definitely took some getting used to but I eventually hooked a few. As always, I couldn’t resist throwing a wacky rigged senko later in the day. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

Early Summer Streamer Fishing (Farewell Spring Creek!!)
Переглядів 7656 місяців тому
Fly fishing for wild trout has quickly become one of my favorite ways to fish. It was another great year of targeting these beautiful fish, however, it’s that time of the year again and I’m home for the summer. I’ll definitely be bringing out the fly rod a lot more this summer and hope to catch some fish on my boat with it! As always, thanks for watching and hope you enjoy! Filmed: 5/3/24
NON-STOP Trout Fishing Action!! (Fly Fishing Central PA)

Welcome back to another video! In this Spring Creek outing, I got out with a few friends from the fly club and hit a fairly new section of creek. Even with crystal clear water, bluebird skies, and the occasional kayaker, I landed a bunch of fish on the Walt's worm. I was definitely surprised by the amount of rainbow trout we caught here, and even though they were small I will never get over how...

Fly Fishing a Small PA Creek (Wild Browns & Rainbows!!)
Переглядів 1016 місяців тому
In this fly fishing outing I visited a small creek holding wild rainbow and brown trout. Using my 10ft 3wt Orvis Clearwater nymphing setup paired with my go-to Walt's worm pattern, I caught a plethora of trout and eventually switched to some streamers later in the day. This might be my favorite small creek to fly fish at, hope you enjoy! Filmed: 4/25/24
PA Dry Fly/Streamer Fishing (SURPRISE Catch!)

In this fly fishing outing, I decided it was finally time to target some trout using dry flies during a caddis hatch. I eventually worked my way up a different creek and caught a few brown and rainbow trout on a kreelex streamer. Even though the flows were high, the fish were still ready to feed! Hope you enjoy! As the spring season approaches and the water starts to warm up, wild brown trout know that it's time to feed. While the past few weeks of cold, windy weather made for some less than ideal fly fishing I finally had an outing with perfect conditions. MASSIVE Trout Eat SMALL Streamers!!

A big part of fishing is getting out and teaching others. In this outing, I met up with an old teacher to show him how I catch wild brown trout in the winter. Using a nymphing technique we drifted egg patterns at the beginning of the day, and eventually switched over to streamers. Hope you enjoy!

In this outing, I got out with a buddy of mine to fish for some wild brown trout. Even though we would have landed more fish using egg patterns on a nymphing rod we wanted to stay warm by throwing streamers. Using a white jig streamer to match the sunny and clear water conditions, I caught some nice browns from the creek. Hope you enjoy! Filmed: 1/21/24
Streamer Fishing in the SNOW!!

While most people stay inside and tie flies during the winter, those willing to brave the cold can be rewarded with trout in the net! I didn't think the trout would be too active, but I managed to find some browns willing to chase and eat my streamer. Going fishing on a day like this resulted in some beautiful scenery and a successful outing! Hope you enjoy! Filmed: 1/19/24

When fish aren't as active in the winter months, there's no better time to throw an egg pattern. In this outing I got out with a friend to do some nymphing for wild brown trout. Although winter conditions make fishing tough, I decided to layer up and hit the creek. Throwing streamers was a no-brainer thanks to the high and off color water conditions.
