Normally Kinder scout (especially the woods) is packed with fellow campers but not a soul to be s...

nice video thanks for sharing
My pleasure. Thanks for watching 😊
Can't believe the amount of times I've driven past this en route to Edale and had no idea it was there!! Brilliant find...to be explored!;)
nice spot mate! where's good for parking around there?
Thanks pal. I always park on Kinder Rd in between The Sportsman Pub and the car park further along. Very safe and always a spot later on when most are leaving the area.
Great video !, I'm looking for a 1 man tent, this one looks great, I also looked at the wild country helm 1 also
Great views up there, have done these hills from Hayfield but useful to know that starting point 👍 Can’t wait until I am back in the Peaks again!
Nice surroundings! How's the tent holding up in those windy conditions? Greetings Fred 🏕
Heya Fred. Yeah it’s a lovely woodland. Very popular so litter can be a problem. I’ve not had the MSR out in any very windy conditions yet. But I reckon provided it’s pitched right it should take a fair wind speed.
Wholesome family fun. Xx
Well done rambling ranger. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like a tit when I’m out litter picking and people are giving you funny looks and comments. I had a group of lads asking if I was on community service.
Thanks Ben! Yeah we shouldn’t care should we really. That’s funny that they thought you was on community Service 😂 I wouldn’t mind serving a bit of that if it was cleaning up in nature.
I camped in that very same spot 2 weeks ago 👍 subbed you mate.
Great spot isn’t it. Sleeping’s easy with a stream next to your bed! Thanks for watching Wayne. 🤙
Well done 👏. We live near Dovestones we pick a lot of litter up 😔
Thank you so much! I’m trying to raise awareness of doing abit of litter picking in the Peaks if your interested in helping out. My Group is on Fb called Peak up litter. It only started today so early days. I’d really like to see a big clean up of the snake woodlands. Hopefully see you there!
How’s the msg holding up in the wind?
Alright Nug! Had it up near the downfall last week. (No vid, was me time) pretty windy in the morning, but was a sturdy ship. 👏
Sorry (furrychalkbag outdoors)... Names Mike on the Chanel...keep u out of the wind that's 4 sure mate🤟
Nice 1 pall enjoyed your vlog, great camp on North side kinder I seen on (furrychalkoutdoors). Someone's made rock shelter, might check it out myself. Anyway thanks again 👍
Glad you enjoyed the vid Ant. Thanks for watching! Sounds right up my street that shelter. Bivvy camp maybe. Let me know if you go check it out! Wanta see this
Nice work mate.
Thanks Rory! It’s the least I can do for the benefits the area has gifted me.
"This is the kind of shit we're dealing with,......Woah!". 😂
Great job my friend ! Really love your content. Greetings from indonesia. Leta connected
Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you enjoy the channel and will be sure to see yours!
Wholesome goodness. Thanks for sharing Mike.

It's not secret now 😂

Wow that was a good place for camping
Thank you so much for watching. Yes I’m hoping to go back very soon.
Nice one.
Its a really nice place you have.Great hike and its a nice Tent. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for taking the time to check it out!
What is your back pack?
At the time I was using the Vango Contour 60 + 10 ltrs. Hope this helps!
Thank you
Your welcome. Thanks for watching!
Really enjoyed that, superb. I am a photographer and was looked at Chinley Head as a good location. Some great photo ops up there. I’m also thinking of trying a wild camp (no gear yet😃) but that looks a good starting place. I’m only in Cheadle Hulme so not far at all. Great video👍
I’m so glad you enjoyed the Vid Drew. I’ve taken some great photos of Kinder covered in snow from Chinley Head, plus it’s a easy walk from the lay by at the bottom at peep o day farm. Mt famine gets you a bit closer tho and is worth a look. Good Luck!!
@@bluemonkey227 cheers buddy, I'll have a look 👍
You know, I've been looking for an interesting spot, researching Chinley Churn, go to UA-cam and here you are. Brilliant mate! Great video
Thanks for watching Dan! It’s a great spot. Not much flat ground for a tent in the quarry tho. There’s not loads of information about it online but there’s a interesting history and some photos if you look hard enough
@@bluemonkey227 where was your lad? Missed him on the video. I think I'm going to head up Mount Famine area for a Wild Camp
Yeah he’s still come out on a wild camp yet. Need more kit yet and don’t think he’s mega fussed really. Oh Mt Famine will make for an interesting wild camp! It’s really windy up there sometimes and not many good spots. Doable tho and not many vids of a camp there, should do it! Amazing views too. Should do a “colab” some time if you fancy meeting up for a wild camp or walk mate.
@@bluemonkey227 sounds a great idea for the future, both of the lads with us too. Gunna walk across Mount Famine and South Head and find a spot I reckon somewhere up there. Then I'll just check Chinley Churn after I think. I always have a loose plan but I also always wing it
@@bluemonkey227 how reliable is it for water up there? I see on the map Dimpus Clough but how reliably will it be running? Do you know?
I love a local on foot overnighter near home but I don't live on the edge of The Peak, ya lucky bugger. Shots in the morning were ace - loved how the sun looked huge behind you in the fog. Enjoyable vid and a cool camp, thanks for posting. Cheers. Rich. 👍
Yeah it’s more rewarding walking from the front door to the campsite. Certainly was a fantastic sunrise coming over Kinder Scout. Thanks for watching Rich!
Real nice video, well filmed, good editing, great views, shame about the tea bags ! Look forward to next video
Excellent tour! Thank you. Been trying to decide where to book as a surprise for my husband & this has just made my mind up 😀
Tidy video that lad, keep em coming team 👌👌🤘👍
Fab edit Joey boy!
Great edit and video Joe!
Another belter of a video mate. The lad reminds me a bit of our Oliver (who's 10), will glady do the distance if its an adventure rather than just a walk. Won't be for a few days till I release the videos, but I did the Hayfield William Clough Charger Rock Kinder Downfall Kinder Low Kinder End route just the other day. It was roasting. A good watch pal! Keep em coming bud 👍
Thanks Dan. It’s a good way to get him out. He was well worn out by the end bless him. Might do a South Head/Mt Famine vid next maybe. Massive views for very little effort from the car. Looking forward to your next upload pal. Super location for drone footage. 👍
Will be uploaded I a week or so pal. I think you're lad is a real star mate!
A Grand Day Out!
I have always wanted to go to kinder scout, thankyou for takeing me,stay safe debs
Your very welcome Debs! Thanks for watching.
Brilliant views! Great video.
I was the other side just above Mermaids Pool on 19th Mate. Cracking spot. It was my 3rd Camp too :) ATB Andy
Yeah must be nice to have mermaids pool added to the view also. Have you tried the wool pack stones yet? Epic location. Thanks for watching pal.
@@bluemonkey227 not yet but it’s on the list
Omg I love you
Thanks for watching. Kind regards RR
Tidy pal. Keep em coming. Subbed!
Thanks for watching Dan. Hopefully I’ll be back out very soon!
Nice I was waiting for the name drop, lucky for you I watched all the way through mint that tho
Nice easy viewing. Thanks for sharing.
Looks amazing I bet it was a lot of money though 😔
Yes it was Amazing. It was pretty expensive though yes. It was cheaper than a package hol abroad, which is the option many other couples go for I think.
Just booked our stay, great video , thanks so much!
Been looking for a 'romantic' getaway for the new year, and had been recommended Forest Holidays, and had been curious about the Hideaway cabins. This, has been a brilliant video, and has made my mind up for me that we will be booking one of them. Thanks for taking the time to make the video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did you pay the extra for the romance package or was the things you were talking about already there without paying the £70 or so extra?
