Hi Randy! Thank you my friend....I'm at home now having a delayed Christmas and my birthday.... Yes, Christmas is a joy and a pain for the heart when you've lived and lost. I guess these sad songs are hard but good in that they speak to that pain and maybe help us feel a little less alone in it. Beautiful words you spoke during your Christmas dinner prayer...truly....and they will all be waiting for us one day to come home. the elk are wild animals with all sorts of wilderness all around…..they are not a domestic herd. the horses are domestic and therefore require feed. Elk are built for this terrain and environment and they are built to survive without human intervention. always a magical experience to see them up close like this. it did however frighten my horses so much so that one colicked which can lead to death….so we must scare them back into their wilderness in order to keep domestic animals that cannot fend for themselves safe. thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed seeing these magnificent creatures.
