Ringo was a professional he did his job and he treated the Beatles and their extended family (Yoko, Linda etc) always with kindness and respect. And yea I'm sure he rather Yoko not be there, and wished that George wouldnt sulk so much and had to put up with overbearing/control freak Paul...it wasnt always easy when you have these titanic egos around you. I think he was the best at checking his ego at the door and doing his job
What musicians died from electric shock? Les Harvey, guitarist of Stone the Crows, died on stage when he was electrocuted. Keith Relf, guitar/harmonica for The Yardbirds, was electrocuted and died in his home studio. Keith Richards was knocked backwards and was unconscious after his guitar touched his mic stand. Moby was shocked by his guitar in 2011.
It's just like John Lennon had said.. Ringo isn't the best drummer in the world, but he's the best drummer for The Beatles. The Beatles wouldn't be the Beatles if not for Ringo fckn Starr
Okay. I still don’t understand Paul being upset with the Spector mix featuring orchestra. He’s literally humming it in the footage. The arrangements give it emotional depth and provide intensity with the bouncing off the chords along with the choir.
The more I watch this, the more I think: "Who thought this project was a good idea?" I mean: write a whole album from scratch and rehearse a live show (location TBD) in two weeks, while being filmed in a movie studio, with no one managing the band, and P.S. watch out for live electric wires. To me, the amazing part isn't that George walked out but that he actually put up with this for a couple of days first.
I saw a musician grab a mic stand and he became paralyzed with steam coming off the top of his head,it was a outside stage and had just rained and it was wet everywhere, the bass player had to knock it out of his hand, people in the crowd thought it was part of the show and were cheering.
They were making fun of the cigar smoking Director, 'Michael lyndsay Hogg. Who was the illegitimate secret love child of Orson Welles who starred in The Third Man. That is why John and Paul were smirking and laughing.
When Ringo stormed out and briefly quit the band during the making of the White Album, the other Beatles all stopped arguing, called him and said "you're the best rock and roll drummer in the world. Come home. We love you." On his first session back, he was greeted with flowers around his drum kit.
Always, always disappointing seeing Yoko hanging around. She had no place being there whilst they were working and when she starts her screeching.....Jesus fvcking christ!
Loving how they're playing the theme of Harry Lime - as portrayed by Orson Welles in The Third Man - in front of the documentary's original director Michael Lindsay-Hogg - the (alleged) biological son... of Orson Welles.
Pauls wife seems utterly dumbfounded at seeing possibly the greatest melody writer and, for that matter, songwriter in the world writing one of the most beautiful songs in the world. It's not my favorite, but I recognize it's greatness.
Greg lake got shocked by his mic and it knocked him out, and the lead singer for the yardbirds (cant remember his name) died from being electrocuted by his guitar this could of happened to lil george
That's how stuff was back then, get your AC polarity switched and zap, Uriah Heep lost a bass player on stage that way. When Peavey came out, they weren't even UL approved
Billy fooled us all
Ringo was just happy to participate
Paul is such a wonderful pianist. I enjoyed when Ringo said something like ‘ I could just listen to Paul play piano all day’.
Isnt it Ringo said stop, thats enough to lennon for dissing paul..correct?

Linda's look at 0:49. Head over heels for Paul.
It's so nice to see them together. Why is there a witch there?

like last night but this more than 50 year ago

something wasn't grounded correctly or the amp had different ground than mic board
If George was surprised here imagine how surprised he was when he got stabbed!
I'm so shocked that George (sorry my man) heheh got shocked but Paul Ringo John love to forever😊

Nice to see them fucking around as real musicians, playing something a bit obscure just for fun that they'd never record.
Little practical joke no doubt.

1:06 good to see a young Keir Starmer sorting the mic
Yoko lurking.
the sheer look of joy on George’s face when the mic shocked the other guy
Yeah, I’ve had it happen to me before while singing. It’s definitely startling but nothing too serious.
no one deserves Mal.
It's serious. Just look up Keith Relf from the Yardbirds.
Paul beautiful melody
The English & Electricity
There weren’t tuners back then.

a lesson from George: dont touch microphones
I got shocked in the face by a mic once. All I saw was blue for several seconds😂
John didn't contribute anything to get back, he just stayed with Yoko and became a slave to love

Linda was pretty foxy
0:55 what did he say?

I love how telephone wait music was already a meme to musicians back then... and that's when it was first invented lmao
This song is much better at 1.75 times speed
Who wouldn't love Ritchie?

John wrote simpler yet catchy songs, Paul's songs were more intricate and soulful.
Greg lake got shocked by his mic and it knocked him out, and the lead singer for the yardbirds (cant remember his name) died from being electrocuted by his guitar this could of happened to lil george
Why does this sound like Spongebob music?

Who is the big guy with the glasses writing things down?
