the dodge roll is non existent, the game really wants you to block/parry and then mele your life back ala bloodbourne

Ah, I biffed the video naming. This has the previous video and about 2 minutes that I had to tack onto the end as the game kept going for a little bit after the station plunged into the planet. I think it shows after completing the game on hard mode. Great game, would recommend.

this video was really well put together, loved the editing! however, i can't help but feel that the character development in Lies of P is kind of lacking. like, i get that it's a unique take on the Pinocchio story, but some of the characters could use a bit more depth to keep me engaged. what does everyone else think?

I have no idea what this is about but I love it
Whenever I see other people play this game, their retinal never moves. What's up with that? I see they are locked on, but even when you have hard lock engaged, there is sway that should occur with the reticle when the enemy quickly boosts. Never happens though.
@@DRNT940 the game has a really good lock on/auto mechanic, the enemies move so fast manual tracking would be almost impossible

I love the Grenade launcher for these missions. 3 rounds and most adds are dead. Chargers and Bile Titans take more ammo but that's what Orbital rail cannons are for. Chargers I can kill with the 'nade launcher if I can hit the butt area

I'm real proud of this one, I think i'll include what weapon I use in the titles from now on.

P.S. If you use your boost durring a turn, you will turn much quicker.
You should be keeping your speed centered in the Blue area of the throttle bar for optimum manuverability. Sometimes it is also better to head out away from combat, then turn around and come back straight at the target. This is especially difficult with larger ships. The Federal Dropship has terrible manuverability yet I am still able to take out everything in the game, though the smaller the target, the harder they are to take down.
Several things you are not doing. 1. Your ship is most maneuverable in the blue throttle zone. This is key, whatever you do to further enhance your dog fight maneuvers, keep your throttle in the blue zone. 2. Power Distributor. I can see your power is balanced 2 pips to systems, 2 pips to engine and 2 pips to weapons. If you have more pips to engines then your engines are faster and you can also maneuver faster too. Down side is you have only six pips to share between all three, so your shields will not hold so well if you are hit or recover if you lose them, also your weapons will overheat quickly if there are less pips assigned to them. I fly most dog fights on 1 shields 4 engine and 1 weapons and I adjust them as I need depending how the dog fight is going. 3. I can't see you using Flight Assist Off. This is used when you boost to meet your enemy and pass under or over their craft, you switch flight assist off and pitch to face them while firing. As you come behind them you switch flight assist on and you are facing the rear of their ship and you can pew pew as much as you like, you are on their tail. 4. You do have yaw, yes it is very slow but it is good to trim your aim on your target. 5. You also have vertical and horizontal thrust. If you pitch up and vertical thrust down at he same time you can pitch tighter. Also pitch down and vertical up thrust for the opposite maneuver. Last of all, practice, practice and more practice. Who said Elite was easy? I am sure others will post constructive advice on your clip later on. Shiny side up commander; Beat the game, don't let the game beat you. You're not doing badly, you are starting out.
MrJonnySL Thanks for the input. I'm doing the vertical thrust during the turns already. I'll try and get the flight assist button mapped to my throttle like I do for SC.
That is a weird bug I have never seen before.... The shield display from the vanduul ships haha.
