I do genuinely feel nostalgic love for this action ecchi series. Also, whether or not someone actually likes this show, I don't think anyone can doubt that this is a banger of an OP.

I have written quite a few fanfics about this series. I have plans for my fanfic. Big plans. One story arc involves a variation of martial law where pandoras enforce the functions of everyday lives. Mass arrests, checkpoints, the works. A lot of my stories are anthology stories that take place from the perspectives of characters of my own creation. One character I created is meant to be my answer to the implied sexism in this series. That men are not necessarily just helpers. I would describe this character as the Freezing equivalent of The Lobster from Hellboy, except that this character is a ruthless vigilante with multiple makeshift weapons and 2 1858 Remington new army revolvers. I call him “The Phantom Prowler” (real name Jack Fitzgerald Bogart). The pandoras that enforce “order” derogatorily refer to him as “Spring heeled Jack” in reference to the spring stilts he uses to run. In the story arc itself, he is the figurehead leader of a ragtag resistance group that opposes the pandora occupation. They have let the success and fame go to their heads and react badly to anyone who can upstage them in a fight (anyone who isn’t one of them) and they have basically become corrupt except for some disillusioned pandoras and limiters who have deserted. Limiters have the lowest rung on the ladder and act as servants. The real leader of the resistance is Kazuya, who masquerades as a soldier who the rest of the resistance refers to as “Victor”. What do you think?
