So, some notes: 1)Your points on the writing and remake system are valid. 2)I appreciate you using Trails music for your videos. 3)I don't agree with you on the grind. I think your mastery of the mechanics is the issue. 4)I also don't agree on Arfoire. I don't hate Arfoire. I hate it when she appears and gets treated like a jobber. 5)Ninja Wars is one of, if not the, single worst of Neptunia games imaginable. 6)The OG didn't write themselves into a corner. The OG was intended to be a one-shot. They did not expect it to be as popular as it became. So of course they could write the main characters living and dying like normal humans. That's not writing yourself into a corner, that's writing an impactful ending for an OG game that did not intend to become a series. 7)I tend to despise the Tamsoft and Marvelous collabs. Like, like what you like. But the game is garbage shite. I can ramble on for days. Ninja Wars isn't a Nep game, Ninja Wars is a Senran Kagura game. 8)I loved both Super Nep RPG's mechanics AND story. I also prefer Virtual Stars. Gamemaker was better than I expected, but I need to make a statement here and now: Neptunia is NOT an ARPG. It needs to go BACK to turn based games. Keep in mind, VII was released in Japan in 2015. We haven't had a canon game, in NINE F**ING YEARS! An entire generation's worth of spinoffs is insufferable. As for why I speak with such presumptuous authority, Hello I'm OneMan. Nep God extraordinaire who 100%ed the entire series on PSN.

Overall a good critique of the franchise and I agree with most of it. Is always nice to see Neptunia fans being properly critical of the franchise. Especially of it's current state. Also nice to see someone else paying attention to the very low Japanese sale numbers of recent Neptunia games. I did have some gripes though. While I agree that Super Neptunia RPG wasn't good gameplay wise I feel like you skipped over that it actually has really good story for a Neptunia spin-off. Meanwhile Ninja Wars is just objectively one of if not the worst game in the Neptunia franchise. Even if you just like it subjectively (or because you rid yourself all expectations), I can't say I understand why anyone even comes close to liking Ninja Wars. Another thing but less of a gripe since I assume you just didn't know. But the original game didn't write itself into a corner because the original Neptunia game was meant to be the only Neptunia game. But then it got way more popular than they expected. So they rebooted starting with mk2. But overall good stuff. Let's hope the Uzume game is the last spin-off before the next Neptunia mainline.
