Since the upper half of Clover's face is darkened as revealed from Martlet's POV at stage 3, and which only happens when you dust a lot of monsters, I think Clover was going Doom in Undertale. They finally snapped after dying over and over in previous timelines.

@dylanzlol7293 sorry but I checked and no they shot axis with they're left hand but they used their soul bast with their right hand for asgore meaning that the might not be left handed but if your talking about shooting with a gun clover is never shown holding it with their right hand but their soul blast for asgore was pulled out with their right
