Let's explore one of San Antonio's most walkable and vibrant areas on foot. Just South of Downtown you have Southtown which is made up of different neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has different architecture and history. Called one of San Antonio's hottest neighborhoods by realtors.

The buckhorn museum has a an upstairs it has Texas ranger information and plus Bonnie and Clyde fake death car plus stuff animals around the world an a old time bar from the 1800s it’s cool

There is a Central Market, a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods in San Antonio. This place is on that same level.

Omg yassss ! Love this native san antonian here! Lived here over 25 years! And omg u read my mind! Right befo u mentioned about downtown san antone very similar to new orleans i said that in my head! 😆! But ive always loved the style of the river walk and downtown santonio cuz they preserved alot of the old buildings and the style of it always reminds me of new orleans, i love cities that preserved old victorian style houses and infrastructures! Loved ur Pearl livestream by the way! The Pearl is my fav place in san antonio! :D!
@@sajizreighn1445 New Orleans & San Antonio have very similar architecture in a lot of neighborhoods. I hope one day I can visit and do a livestream or a few videos from there. I appreciate you taking the time to watch this one and my Pearl livestream. Looking to do more neighborhoods and cities in the coming months.
How long of a walk is it from the Hyatt Regency RW to The Pearl? Nice video!
Thank you and the walk is roughly about 30-35 minutes. I suggest following the riverwalk, it will take you right to it.

Are there any semi budget and pet friendly hotels you could recommend along the Riverwalk?
Along the Riverwalk the hotels would be pretty expensive, and not sure about pet friendliness sorry.

@@alexpilgrim8248 It certainly feels like it has, I expected it to be a lot more crowded for a Friday afternoon. It will probably pick up again around October-December that’s when it seems to be the busiet.
@@jairurbanadventures I guess so. It’s already August. And the downtown construction might keep some from visiting.

HI Jair, I saw you on Louise Live this morning so decided to checkout your channel , the weather in San Antonio looks nice and warm, and looks like a lively place to be and Mon Chou Chou sounds like a place to go. @@alexpilgrim8248 Definitely a mix of both, you have some areas for families and family activities but you also have a mix of bars and restaurants that are geared more toward single people.

Thank you it’s a very large park with a lot more to see but it was 103 degrees and I didn’t feel too comfortable walking in that heat. I’ll return and do another video at some point.

San Antonio is super dangerous and very ghetto # Warning Danger!!
I've had my fair share of dangerous encounters while walking and like every city there are places I probably would not recommend visiting. The city has a huge homeless problem that's only getting worse every year and property crimes are really common in San Antonio. However San Antonio does not even rank in the top 10 list of most dangerous U.S. cities when it comes to crime overall and has a murder rate lower than the national average. Thanks for your input, let me know where you are watching from.

I agree there are some great places within San Antonio.
It be more beautiful if the Californians would LEAVE. Since their influx over these past 5 years I’ve seen way more trash on the side of the roads or at businesses parking lots.
