Bondi Family Adventures-Brothers, Mike & Steve Bondi celebrated our 40th Year of Backpacking in the Sierras in 2016. We started when we were in our teens and still plan and make annual Sierra treks each year. Some photos of our earlier trips are posted as well as a long photo collage of our 50 mile cross-Sierra trek in 2016. There are also two Montana canoe trips and a Minnesota Boundary Waters Canoe trip as well some Bondi family vacation trips. Life is about the journey...so enjoy each day and "live" life to its fullest and be open to new things. Life is short so make the most of the time we have and be open to doing things and spending time with family and friends that will create memories with the people you love.
Troop 724 Boundary Waters Trip
Dads and their sons travel to Minnesota Boundary Waters Scout Camp for an August 2010 canoe adventure. Mike & Daniel Bondi, Roberto & Xavier Puga, Dr. Mike & Mikey Rovzar, David & Brandon Luke are grouped together for a great adventure.

In 2009, Mike & Steve Bondi and Gordon Duff backpacked up towards Cottonwood Lakes. A side canyon takes them to Cirque Lake. The area is so beautiful, the Bondi brothers return to Cottonwood Lakes with their sons in 2010.

Mike & Steve Bondi take a quick trip to Mammoth Lakes and hike to Arrowhead Lake which is just above Mammoth Lakes, CA. The crowds are gone and the trout are plentiful. Fun times!

1981 Mike & Steve Bondi backpack up from Sabrina Lake Trailhead to George Lake. Then make a quick drive to Mammoth Lakes and then camp down near Devils Postpile in a Volkswagen Vanagon and enjoy the fishing on the San Joaquin River. Fun times!

Wow, external frame packs. I think I saw one of those in a museum awhile back …
Three of us backpacked into the Mary Louise Lakes in 1973. Made camp near the shore of the bigger middle lake right across from the granite wall. We caught rainbows in that lake and native speckled trout in the upper smaller lakes. Best fish I've ever eaten.
