crazy how you sell an identical remote for 20$, with a disjointed number input, and you dont even offer a manual or video on it? theres not even a way to contact customer service? hell

This is a POS!!! I will be returning it to the store!!! I was able to pair it to my phone but when trying to pair it to our Fire Stick via bluetooth by pressing the ok and vol + buttons there was 0 response from the remote.

This remote will not pair to my TV and if it does then it will be paired for a day and then stop. I've tried to pair this remote idk how many times. The instructions seem simple but the remote just will not pair to the TV. Do NOT waste your money, time, and patience on this horrible product.

In case this helps anyone: I successfully paired to fire tv for about a day. My parents house sat for me and somehow the remote was no longer connected to fire tv. Unfortunately, I can’t give any more context as to how the connection got interrupted; however, I had a difficult time getting the remote paired back up. At one point, Fire TV wouldn’t even acknowledge the remote in discovery mode. I then had the idea to restart my fire stick i.e. unplugged my fire stick for about 15secs, turned it back on and restarted the set up process for the remote. It worked! So far I’m connected to the fire stick and remote is working just fine. I’ll tap back if there is any thing of significance happens. Hoping this helps someone!

A step they missed: Step 2.5; go to your RCA app in your settings and let it “Allow to access Bluetooth” and THEN go to pair with your phone. I was having the hardest time also but I just dug some more and found the problem! Hope this comment helps someone!!

I figured it out. In order to use volume and power at the same time press the TV button( under power button) on remote. To connect to streaming apps press the button above home button. But tv volume and moving channels won’t work at the same time. You have to toggle the two buttons depending on what you want to do

Only cool part about this remote is that it has the alarm to find it but he only place I’ll be finding it is back on the shelf because this thing is a piece of shit

I literally read all these comments after trying to connect it for the 102000€&$🤬 time took it outside and let my whole family watch me run it over with our van! It felt so good! On our way now to Walmart to get one that actually works!

It works, until it starts disconnecting to save battery energy every 5 minutes of inactivity and you’ll need to go to the settings to pair it again and again, it makes me crazy.The worst !!!!! Don’t throw away your money

Garbage. It’s supposed to work with TV’s and it didn’t sync with mine. I’m glad I saved the receipt.

Would NOT recommend if trying to connect to firestick, tried a dozen times to put in "discovery mode" while fire tv tried to pick up the bluetooth signal and nothing..... remote was fully charged, was standing right in front of the firestick and nothing, very disappointed secondary to being able to connect to my projector and stereo system. Tried to contact customer service to ask and was told there is no customer service line for this remote and to check on website which is only "how to videos". Looking into other universal options....

I’m not downloading a fucking app for a shit remote to be able to set it up. Absolutely fire any and all idiots who allowed this shit to happen. I’d rather destroy this remote into 1000 pieces before I download another worthless app so some pos company can mine everything from my phone. Useless or not, it’s the principle of it.
