Fixing a Dillon 1100 Issue | Case Feed Cam | Armanov Quick Change Toolhead
Переглядів 812 дні тому
Recently I installed the Armanov quick change tool head and let me tell you I love that thing. Being able to just change dies is a winner. I can reload three different recipes for 9mm without having to unscrew any dies. The problem I was having is that, for some unknown reason, the tool head was not cycling down enough to actuate the case feed cam correctly to pick up a case. So One Point Manuf...

great review!
Thanks. Please consider subscribing if you can.
I have had several of these. Not once has any of them jammed. They are beasts! If it is jamming it is not the gun. DO a little research.
Really the music was obnoxious
Thanks for watching
I could be wrong, but I remember seeing one time a guy recommend the same brand of break cleaner but in the green can. Something about it being a bit less harsh and missing a certain chemical, but still cleans incredibly.
So did you end up keeping it or giving it away? Hint hint? 😊
It was an R&D press from Lee. I paid half but it was mine to keep. I sold it after a few reviews as I was reloading that caliber on another press. Hey consider subscribing if you can.
@@Comerelaxandlearn I did subscribe, us chubby guys gotta stick together!
Atf may not like how you’re using that grip 🤣
@@DonJames_ haha
Just some advice, you’re slapping the trigger a bit. With some blanks, try finding that trigger reset and do some reps of that. Then go back to the range, and do the same drill with live ammunition. Take it nice and slow. I’d get a vertical grip rather than the fore grip for wrapping your hands around it, that barrel will get nice and toasty quick lol.
I know it's not, but why is it sounding like a paintball gun lol
Haha very true!! Not sure why but it was very windy!!
Because it’s under a canopy
Learn how the foregrip is used because you are not useing it right bud, do some research.
It seems more comfortable this way to me. But I get that most people do differently.
@@Comerelaxandlearnget a vertical grip or just grab the handguard lol solid build tho
@Comerelaxandlearn and what am i learning exactly.
We get it bro you know where the trigger is and where the ammo goes.
Funny you mention. I was actually testing the trigger which had failed at a match a week earlier.
O my god that’s Jason Bourne
Hardly!! Lol

Wow. This was pointless unless you need a fresher course on adjustable wrench usage
Thanks for your feedback.
That looks like a awesome set up man
I love it
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
My guy🤦 wheres the shell holder and lock stud that goes with the rest of that trimmer set??? That is what sets the depth... Without it.. your cases will have no consistancy... Leading to issues when u crimp bullets later.... every crimp is gunna be inna defferent place.... Quick tip..... Find one of those multi bit screw drivers... The shell holder lock stud fits those dimentions nicely... Simple as hot glueing the lock stud in so its a dedicated holder for your brass... Plus, the added dexterity you will have holding onto a driver instead of just slippery and awkward brass... Hands wont wear out so fast. Ask me how i know... Cheers bubba🍻
Are you kidding . How is this is suppose to help us?
Unboxing and overview
So after the adding the accessories, are you still below the cost of the 750?
Humm?? Good question. Close probably
Gas tube not closing fully
Not sure but saw a video that is a bit of a pain to close.
I bought mine a month ago! I kept the bolt open till this past weekend! We fired 250 rounds of 2 3/4” #4’s high brass , 00 buck and slugs ! Zero issues! It was throwing the empties 5 feet away every shot! Zero jams , no stove pipes! There’s a piston control switch on the right side! Out for low brass in for high ! Best $399 I ever spent! And boy is it fast !
Perfect. That’s the way to do it. I keep mine opened as well.
Even with the sensitivity issue, I find the DAA to be far superior to the flimsy M7 (and it cost less). Once the die height was set and I tightened the lock nut I was able to get it adjusted and this one will only be used for 9mm. If the sensitivity issues return I will try the 10mm X 1mm magnet (thanks @martinvlader9817).
you flinch when you pull the trigger
@@Origin_Sphere absolutely!!!
I think i fixed the sensitivity issue. i replaced the original big magnet with small round magnet (10mm in diameter and 1mm high) and the sensitivity lowered, so it seams work. I used tape to fix the magnet on the rod :-D
@@martinvladar9817 nice man! Thanks for sharing that!
There’s no way you should be 7 1/2 for a size 9 sneaker. Go get your feet measured.
Great fit. Perhaps 7.5 wide would have been better. But any more than that would be too big.
What brand or where can I buy?One of these bullet feeder
It’s called mag-p. They make em for rifle and pistol. Great quality
ohhh that’s one squishy reloading bench 😬
@@troyelder56 haha. It’s actually the chair!!! 🪑
Update vid? I wanna see em all broke in a stuff lol.
Good ask. But have not worn them as much as I would like to.
Brake cleaner is very good. One thing A LOT don't 🤔 think about is. To lube and leave a 🤏🏻 film of whatever gun lube they use. Remember. Brake clean takes off every little bit of lube. Gotta oil everything down that you sprayed with Brake cleaner
That’s a good reminder about lubing again! Thanks
@Comerelaxandlearn yes. A lot of people don't realize that brake cleaner is, DAM GOOD. It removes ALL the oil as well. You mite have rust issues down the road.
i am growig
@@Stoicsparks1 lots of fun!
It seems any shell under 1300 ft/sec and low brass doesn’t get the kick out! Run high brass #5 then buckshot and it will run smooth!
Yup. I changed to 1800fps shells
You have completely missed the point regarding the different use cases - comparing hand utensils and a Mixmaster.
That thing is $168 on Amazon. Little expensive
@@ef2967 it sure is. Used to be like 110$. There are others. But I like this one.
worthless video
Lite strike go extended firing pin, light firing pin spring and increased your hammer spring
thanks. hey consider subscribing if you haven't
sometimes the case volume on the inside is different between different manufacturers, You may end up with a 30fps. difference in bullet speed. Not enough to cause a KaBoom IMO.
@@Renrondog good point.
I have had my BP12 for almost 2 years and have experienced not one misfire such as we see here. However, I read the instructions that came with the firearm that explicitly states it will not function or cycle properly with low velocity ammunition. I use 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge shells @ 1345 FPS, nine pellets, double 00 buckshot.

@@dariouribe2897 soy de Puerto Rico y no te entiendo bien. Te refieres a los tubos q cargan los proyectiles?

Get rid of that music - annoying as hell
How much?
Hummm don’t remember. Definitely $100+. But check their website.
So i got mine from midway, and idk if its an issue but i got the red powder check instead of the clear one. Is that a problem? Im just getting into reloading for the first time and bought the 6 pack pro as my first press. I likely wont use it juat yet because i need half my tools for reloading still.
You mean the the powder hopper on top of the powder through expansion die?
@@Comerelaxandlearn yea
@@MrShadow1995. don’t think there’s a difference. One is clear and the other one is red with a lid. But if you are starting up the one with a lid would benefit you because as you throw powder and keep adjusting your powder charge, it’s much easier to dump back into the hopper.
Why u whispering
It is done in asmr format. Look it up. It’s a form of relaxation.
I think you mean showdown not outer limits (;
Thanks!!!
I have no idea if this is recommended or even a good idea but it worked for me. I sanded the plastic primer slider with 600 grit and beveled where the metal primer pick up slides into the plastic slider so that is won’t catch then put an extremely small amount of the finest graphite powder I could find under the plastic slider and in the primer trough. An I do mean the smallest amount then spread it with a small paint brush like the art type not hardware type. The primer system is butter smooth now
I agree with you. Lee products are really good but one must be able to tinker with it.
Thanks for the video, I've been shooting USPSA with mine for almost 3 years and have not done a complete disassembly and cleaning haha...
Glad I was able to help. This is why I made the video.
Does it work in the grass too
It does. Sometimes you have to press down in the grass. Same in gravel. But works pretty good.
I had the same problem, It's a gas problem Here is the fix. What I did is drilled out the gas port 3mm bigger. Then debured the barrel and now my Panzer Bullpup Kicks ass!! No more ejection problems!! YEA!!! Look up my video here on you tube. Seach For ron davis panzer bullpup.
Will do. Thanks
Hey, I've noticed that there are alot of people saying that this top handle is just existant to destroy your gear. That's why I'm just gonna ask: Does this handle still work? Thanks!
I don’t think so. As long as your camera has the same size hole as the cold shoe, you should be ok. If you haven’t already, would you mind subscribing?
