Well ain't this another typical example of unfucking co-operative government workers who get paid big money to fuck every one over. Yes they have to prevent normal folk from doing every day stuff because they have nothing better to do and their pathetic ego makes them feel like a big hero when they command private citizens to do what they say. They got told what was going on, so they know there is no big deal with cleaning out the river, but they still insist that the workers stop everything, and can't do anything until they go get a permit off some other public servant dickhead half-way across the county. Outcome, government workers get paid extremely good money every day to prevent private enterprise workers from earning a buck.... or losing money, so another overpaid public servant can put a rubber stamp on a piece of paper to allow them to do what they were already doing. Hey cunts, thanks for wasting half a day's income for four private-sector workers who were actually doing shit, while you turds dive around in your air-conditioned government car, produce nothing, except harass people and prevent them from doing work. About the same thing happened to us many years ago. There was a shallow berm building up and it did make a nice swimming hole. We were set to remove the berm that had formed but people got all uppity and stood between it and the machines. The mayor showed and told us to git. Three months later the river changed path and funneled into Main Street and took out city hall and some other business. The mayor got recalled.

What's the problem? Real nice warden just made you get another permit and you had to put this nonsense on You Tube.

Well the Wardens were very helpful, they didn't give you a ticket and they told you who to get a permit from, so I think they were pretty nice about it.

This was done near where I live and the subsequent flooding caused the rock in the stream bed to move to the low water bridge below my house to clog up and keep the bridge flooded. Very inconvenient for the kids riding the school bus and their parents. When you change the stream bed it changes the waterway in ways you wouldn't expect.
