Cardwell being humble. I love this dude. He admits that he didn’t like him stealing his playing time and somewhat disliked him, didn’t cheer for him to turn it around and respect him and grow as a human being. Hubert Davis is not a good recruiter. Why is it that no elite centers want to play for Hubert. Just look at the facts. Just look at what we have coming in 2025. Nothing but guards. No centers or power forwards.

RJ Davis is playing absolutely horrendous his defense always was a liability now his ability not to shoot is another one. He is looking for contact instead of try to score. Hubert inability not to recruit 7 footers is beyond me. Tyson is turning to be more flash than dash. Hubert needs to play Brown more. What he got out there isn't working.

From an Auburn fan, respect to Memphis. Penny is one hell of a coach and as the season goes on and his team develops more chemistry theyre gonna be nasty. Even after this loss if theyre not ranked atleast in the top 15 itll be criminal. Still feels strange for me that AU has become somewhat relevant in basketball and beat Memphis (a program that has an incredible bball history) in the Maui final.

This is the epitome of A true team. As good as they are right now, theyll get even better as the season goes on. Thats a scary thought for opponents.

This field with such respected programs as North Carolina, Iowa State, UConn, Dayton, Colorado, Memphis, and Michigan State it is an accomplishment to win the Maui Invitational. Good game to all these competitors, and I'm sure Auburn will see these teams in March Madness! You all are tough outs and will do well this year!

Carolinas issues are all fixable. All of em. But it won’t happen without some coaching adjustments, and team buy-in. Mark my words, if this team buys in to getting after it on defense and rebounding like the ball is oxygen.. they will be a top 5 team. Until then, they are in the 15-25 range

Dan I think it’s time to grow up. Your behavior towards the referees is a disgrace. The calls were terrible but you should be showing these young men your coaching a bit of class

I really thought with the question about the front court and rebounding that they would have went with a starting line up more of Davis, caduet,withers, lubin, and Washington that line up wouldn't affect you on the glass playing 25-28 mins a game

Truth be told great team but he can't be afraid to coach and if he going play small with one front court player he can't alow the guards to help down and keep giving up open threes that's for sure and no matter how thin he is can't be afraid to play James brown

How many UNC teams have had big men in the post, and a smaller team has won. I will wait.. some are acting as if this is the 2022 team. It's going to take time. CHILL, Hubert has a vision. If they make the tournament, they have as much a chance as everyone else.
