I'm Matt, and I'm an author based in Chichester, West Sussex, UK. I currently write police procedural crime thrillers set in the Chichester area. I spent nearly 18 years as a police officer based in Hampshire and Sussex, giving me a good insight into detecting crime and police procedures.

My first three books feature a detective called DI David Angelis, who heads a Major Crimes team in Chichester, based in a fictional investigations centre. Angelis is an extraordinary detective with some unusual skills.

'Chasing Shadows' is my first novel featuring DI Angelis, published in September 2021. 'Hide Her Away' was published in January 2022, and 'Take You Home' in October 2022.
