    I couldn't see clearly enough to see what lake you were on. What part of Quetico did you go in. I have been on the far East side and the far West side. Both places just above the Minnesota boarder. Film makes fish look smaller the they really are. Those bas did not look small. My brother and I always go first week of june. Top water for spawning bass. Rebel tiny pop R.

    Cliff- I've now watched this video 20+ times! This is a great video of what fishing and canoeing Quetico is all about. I'm headed there this summer for my 20th trip. I also enjoyed the other video where you were with some other gentlemen. I took over leading a trip of local youth and adults into Quetico in 2000. Two junior high teachers started leading trips into the park with youth and adults in 1970. I'd really like to connect with you to discuss Quetico, fishing, and gear in greater detail. I hope you have a great trip in 2018. We are heading up July 1.

    That guy who supposedly caught a pike is fakee. Even a dead pike will rip your heart out, literally.

      It's not fishing that the Canadians are trying to lure. It's Americans. Oh, the Mainers of the US do it, too. In February, they all go out on the frozen lakes. Minisota, Michigan, wherever, and catch every live critter under the ice that they can. If they were handed grenades, they would toss em in to make sure everything was dead. Then they sell bait and motel rooms in warm weather. Walmart should sell shotguns, oh I forgot, they did and do., just to shoot minneshotas.

    • @donaldblankenship7541
      @donaldblankenship7541 6 років тому

      I would shoot a Minnesotan on site, but they aren't around. They're busy with tourism.

    • @donaldblankenship7541
      @donaldblankenship7541 6 років тому

      Minisoter is one of the worst states. It's actually very, very pretty, but it's the people who are bad. They aren't apparently genetically inferior, but who knows. It's one of two or three states you should recommend highly to your worst enemy. Ooo, I almost forgot: tune this in: no matter what you do, what you hear, what you eat (don't eat in Minisoter), everything and everyone who lives there lies like a cheap rug. In a way, it makes it easy. Just ask the waitress if she was born in Miniscutesalville, and if she says, "yes," (I said don't eat the food under any circumstances), then ask which way is Truthsville. Minnescotiacs will lie to you about everything. Bet on it.

      Those pike are smart and we are not. They look at you sitting in your canoe. Stick your hand in the water and see. Also, be a big fisherman then take it home and fry it up. No, it doesn't taste like rotten fish or feces or something bad like that. Let's just say it's an aquired taste (at gunpoint).

    • @donaldblankenship7541
      @donaldblankenship7541 6 років тому

      Monster bass my ass. You're gonna be eating mud carp, pike (oo), and potato chips ya brought. It's warm and the knooks (they like that word) just stare at you from the parking lots as they try to get their female rangers to do something perverse to them, which the women are disgusted to even think about.

  • @donaldblankenship7541
    @donaldblankenship7541 6 років тому

    Such bullshit. That pike was real and really really dead. Given a choice of dragging a crocadile into a boat like that or a pike, I'll take the croc. A pike will eat you alive. Not only that, it's not fair to compare a pike's meat to a bucket of vomit. Let's just say it doesn't give 100 rotten pelican eggs justice.

    Perfect video from the Canadian Commission On Suckering The world into "Spending Your Life Savings on 4 Days" and the fish just stare at you under your rent-a-boat. Not lieing.

    • @reddysoft

      Life savings? What are you talking about? Trips to Quetico are DIRT cheap.

    • @sonnyc3826
      @sonnyc3826 6 років тому

      yeah i dont know what you're talking about ive never caught more fish in my life than going there. if you're not catching something you're doing it wrong or just a plain shitty fihserman i get fish at least 1 every 5 casts. and last year it costs 4 of us to go 300 each or so maybe 400 . truck rental, park fees, and 2 canoe rentals you're obviously doing it wrong

    Really enjoyed watching this! You guys sure caught some toad smallies! We're heading to Brent/William/Conmee this year, but this isn't the first vid I've seen of people catching monster smallies on Pickerel. Might have to be on the agenda for next year's trip. Thanks for posting!
