So I’ve been sitting up here in my quiet spot up in the corner edge of my property, something I do everyday when I get home … take my boys (dogs) out into the woods to ( for me ) unwind and reconnect with nature and they enjoy it too. Today was a little different and this is why I don’t hunt…. The dogs were on alert as I got to our sitting spot and something seemed off. Long story short bow season for deer has been going on and we found a mortally wounded buck with an arrow through his neck and obviously he is struggling to breathe and has blood filling his lungs. I’ll be honest I shed a few tears because I know no one hunts on my property so he’s ran to where he knows he’s safe. He forced himself to flee when he saw and heard dogs but stopped to look at me as if to ask for help. This angers me to no end!!! If you hunt you had damn well make sure you get your kill and if not you track day in and day out and find it! No I feel I need to take the day off work and end the suffering if I can find him

Michael .. thank you for sharing your story. All though it is sad. I wonder if in his last moments... maybe he found some peace not being hunted in a safe place on your property. If so maybe that will bring you some peace.

It may take much time and editing, but it would be nice to to see the animals that found their way to the water and surrounding trees Do you standby while the film rolls or leave the area and then come back? I expect the hours close to dusk and dawn would be the liveliest

@@Terrierized I go to location and film the scenes. Sadly animals aren't in the area. I have been searching for river otters to film.

Im flattered that you would ask my thoughts.so many creators dont always respond..i could think on it.for me truthfully is perfection in everyway but i have been told i have a unique perception.

I was never gifted the talent of playing music for i can not hear the tones..my great grandmother was a pianst for 80 years..i was always in awe of her delicate fingers sweeping across the keys with such grace..as small as she was her sounds would fill and echo through out our once grand charlestonian home..so boldly it echoed like lioness she once was

I enjoy seeing the leaves too Bjorn!. I understand all seasons have their purpose but the Appalachian Mountains are Magical a few times a year.
