This musical by Jithin Kuruvilla Philip is an ode to his Mother who passed away in May 2018. A mother is an indispensable part in anyone’s life and her loss is one that can never be atoned. Through this eulogy, he raises the question- ‘Who art in Heaven?’ wherein he details an alternative perspective to the Lord’s Prayer. This lyrical rendition attempts to restore hope to those who grieve the l...

SECRET TIP TO MAKE YOUR SONG SOUND BETTER : goo.gl/Jki7LS Mateus Asato playing a classic hymn, the Old Rugged Cross. On a hill far away, stood an old rugged Cross The emblem of suff'ring and shame And I love that old Cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain So I'll cherish the old rugged Cross Till my trophies at last I lay down I will cling to the old rugged Cross...

WA sound: It picks the room a lot. The C414: Much more hush, hush....
2025? Who’s here?
sweet
Vc é incrível cara
Amen!!
HOLY GHOST BUMPS❤
It has to be said, the WA14 acquits itself extremely well, against the 414..... Every time I hear it, I'm impressed.....
I immediately hear the difference, the U87 has a crisper sound with more clarity. It’s like night and day.. better off getting the TLM102 instead of the W87 if you want a top tier quality vocal, considering they’re both almost the same price 💁🏼♂️
Had to check my UA-cam video speed in the beginning to make sure I wasn’t on 1.5x by accident
That was a beautiful song!!! 😢
My WA-14 showed up yesterday, alongside the WAMPX! Recorded with the WA14 today and it blew me away; can’t wait to wire up &!run the WAMPX next week… thanks for putting out these great demos with all these awesome artists.
Anointed by the Rock! Amen.🙏
Espetacular
Já começa assim? Minha nossa!
I gotta be honest, i really can't tell the difference. i just closed my eyes and listened all the way through and it mostly sounded like the same mic, aside from a lil reverb on certain parts... i am gonna grab this Warm Audio WA-14 on black fri!
came for the mics, stayed for the voice (can we get more, please?)
Sick! intro! 🔥🔥
Wow, Mateus, you are so blessed with an amazing gift! Thank you for sharing your gift. May God continue to bless you! ua-cam.com/video/PxyJ4rZtIGg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MarioAlleckna
Nice one. I think there will be more differences coming out in vocals. There is just too much resonance with this style of playing that will in fact be very hard to tell them apart. I have heard singing samples and the U87 comes out of top .. it is very forgiving of harsh voices and just evens things out very magically, which none of the others are able to do.
Incrível!
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7
George Bennard (1873-1958) was born in Youngstown, OH. When he was a child the family moved to Albia, Iowa. He served with the Salvation Army in Iowa for several years before he was ordained in the Methodist Episcopal Church. His hymn “Speak, my Lord” appears in Triumphant Service Songs (Chicago: Rodeheaver Hall-Mack Co., 1934). He wrote words and tune for his best known hymn “The Old Rugged Cross” in 1913.
the singer is soo good! nice comparison, through i want more
Mateus, keep it up dude!!👩💼🤠👍❤️🇨🇱🇺🇲
No words❤
i just pulled the trigger on 2 WA 14s no regrets
This woman is AMAZING! Wow, also the wa14 just had a tad bit more highs, it’s barely even much , but the 414 does have very little extra bottom also barely noticeable
Well, if we can afford the Royce to go to work then the U87 , but if we can earn pretty good salary by using the W87 by making by putting a tip bid of wax on our, let say Ford explorer, then go W87 will win.
Jesus Blessing u broth
amazing i just bought the wa87 figuring i can bump up to a u87 in the future an really all that i notice is the difference of clarity obviously because of price but the wa87 holds up so incredibly well a bit of eq an compression an cleaning up of harsh highs an its almost the same
Attention Hillsong and Bethal guitarists...this is how an electric guitar should be played!
Ummmm..... I listen to a lot of Hillsong stuff and a lot of Bethel stuff. What those guitarists are doing it's the style of worship music that they are playing. This style here is absolutely amazing. But it doesn't work in a worship style setting when you have singers leaving worship songs. It's not fair to tell guitarist that this is how the instrument should be played, if it doesn't fit the style of music but they are playing🤷🏾♂️
Any Kind of Music Genre which is relevant in church is pleasing to God.. If it's for his will and his Name.. Doesn't matter whether your playing style is as light as a Feather or as Heavy as A Rock.
If you use your creativity whole heartedly for God's will its acceptable to him. God doesn't count notes or doesn't judge your playing style.. He looks at the heart❤

He’s actually good friends with Hillsong’s guitarist… they play together sometimes.
Beautifully composed Jithin, your mother must have definitely heard this lovely song from above rendered with whole heart.
Suena mejor que el 47 junior
Said goorbye to my mum 6 years ago and this was her favourite hymn,,,, you think acceptance has set it and then Matues melts your heart again,,,so Beautiful,,
Ok so meta-comment: to all the people making fun of the people saying "not even close"...I think you're missing the point here. In macroscopic, layperson's-ears terms, you're not wrong. But when you're talking about the difference in tone between something that's truly high-end and something cheap that's trying to be that thing, what you're hearing and talking about is the sum of all of the little (and not-so-little) things that ultimately make something sound high-end. And when it comes to something like tonal quality, what might seem like objectively slight differences can (and often do) make a world of difference to quality of the end result. And if you honestly can't hear a real difference here or think the Warm Audio one sounds better or on par, you're either not listening in a critical environment or your ears aren't that sharp ;)
I’m not a religious, but those who mock or just ignore the beauty and depth of the old hymns truly miss an important musical experience.
I want to like this but it sounds like there's too much compression on both mics, making the S's distracting. Don't like either of them if that's the case. Besides that, the WA holds up pretty well in the high-mids, mids and lows. Not muddy, well balanced.
Short and sweet comparison. Thanks!
Love her voice! Excellent demo!
the poor girl does know how to sing. And would have been a better demonstration with someone who could. Nevertheless. They sure do almost look identical, don't they? They sure don't sound identical. No doubt, the WA 87, has a more pronounced, upper high-end presence. The stalwart, U-87. Sounded like hot fudge, on ice cream. With a less pronounced, upper midrange presence. That was forward and present. Without being overly present. It had a wonderful deep warm presence. It had some weight behind it. You can hear the quality microphone output transformer. It's luscious sounding. But for the smart, entry-level, studio owner. You can get a much better bang, for your buck. And don't worry. You'll never know the difference. The WA-87 will be great. But it will never sound like a, U-87. But it sure looks like one. So nobody will know the difference. I will. But that don't matter any. And so don't feel bad. I haven't purchased a recording in over 30 something years. I make recordings for people. And people send me recordings. And so, no. I was thinking about purchasing one of these. As a backup to my pair of 67's and 87's. And I think your wonderful review. Has convinced me not to. Unless I want something that looks like an 87. And I can get other ones like those for under 100 bucks. And I have some. The pair cost $160. And they work adequately. And nobody knows the difference but me. And they sound like those WA-87's. And probably possesses the same,, Taiwanese capsule. And same, Taiwanese output transformer. And oh well. Only I'll know the difference. And because you don't use your really expensive microphones on cheap, garbage. I mean, GarageBand gigs. You just don't. It doesn't pay. Those microphones can be easily broken. So I only use them on vocal solos and solo instruments. The cheap ones can be used on the drums. The acoustic guitars. The room. The Latin percussion. They all work. And it all really depends on who your clients are. As you don't give the really good paying clients the cheap microphones. Because I'm going to get great sound. No matter what microphones I use. That's just the way it is. But most of you will be able to impress your friends with that fancy looking expensive microphone. Yeah they cost something like $3300. And let them think that. Then get one of those little official Neumann, metal diamond logo. And glue it on your microphone. You'll be amazed at how much more business that might generate. And will likely cost you less than $100. And I promise. I won't tell a soul. Your secret is safe with me. And the dumb morons will never know the difference. You can laugh all the way to the bank. Ok there bud… have another tequila and talk more about you’re drunk ass 😂
U87 is so much better sounding.. Sorry it is the winner!
U87 has a smoother top end (to me). Both sound great, however.
i had a Neumann u87 and wa 87 used for about a month on everything , there was maybe a slight difference in the very very high frequencies that were a little cleaner with the Neumann, i took back the Neumann and kept the wa87 it was so close i could barley tell the difference, and maybe it was just my ears that were fooling me anyway lol
Beautiful Bro. !! Thanks ! HapPy New Year Matthew ! ( Mateus )
