The Bully goes on the scales for the first time. This gave me a baseline to what the cars weight is and I have plenty of ideas to lighten the car up in certain areas and a few areas weight will be added in.

A solid run between a very fast tt mustang that has been 7.70 at 175mph, The Bully's PB is 8.0 at 172mph, both cars had a hard time lining up, spooling turbos and leaving together, unfortunately only got 1 run in. Expect to see these two 170 mph cars line up again over the summer.

Do you have any gearing adjustments whether it be in the rear dif or actual transmission? What is too speed of each gear? Ik it’s a lot of questions jw
@@zanewinslow8284 it’s a factory ratio TH400 however I do have a 3.15 rear gear , 1st gear is about 70mph 2nd 135mph and 3rd 200mph .. I spin the motor to 8500
The trans says rated for 900hp is it a level 4 ? how do you push 1.3k ? Whats been done for support and does the fti hold up that well in high hp? Love the build 💯
@@Slo.340 this th400 is a level 5, it’s actually the same lvl 5 internals I had in my previous lvl 5 FTI built for me in 2020, we just moved it into a new case, new clutches bearings etc, The top stamp line where it says model # has lvl 5 stamped out , the next line that has “4” stamped out is the actual builder at FTI who assembled it and then the month and year, it has handled 1300+ hp for over 4 years already, this was the first time since 2020 that I’ve sent it back for an upgrade , thanks brotha 🍻

I got two motors for you I need to get this money but I promise no one using these v8s
I tried the 750 on my car lol. You could feel that thing sucking fuel. But it died. Went dual 525. Base pressure around 37
@@dominicvoegele296 haha wow , I ran a 625 for prob ten years , went auto and needed more fuel then went to the 750 and intank 535 , I sent the 625 back to magna fuel and the rebuilt it and updated all new for a great price so I have that here new in box. Sounds like a nice setup you have , my base pressure is on the higher side with both pumps running 50psi , holds 80psi solid on high boost
@ I keep the base low to keep the pumps from working so hard all the time. This th400 set up you got here is so slick.

Are you using both fuel tanks withbthe crossover tube still or just the drivers side tank? Also where did you get the bulkhead for the 750 pump? Thanks man!! 👊
@@ryanveret4088 I’m using both factory tanks still with crossover tube working . It’s a 2002 so my fuel hat is down low on the driver tank which is very nice, I got the bulkhead from a local buddy’s shop, you’re welcome ! Lmk if you have any other questions 👍🏾
I machined custom bulkheads on my c6 and routed mine externally on my c6

@ 750 comes on under boost with a hobb
Man I love your setup. My Z06 is still factory 6 speed, totally fully build 7 liter LSR block with Frankenstien heads ready for big boost from the F1X. I'm thinking of going turbo although I already have the F1X. Anyhow I want to go 6 speed auto but no one seems to make one to hold up. A 10 speed would be freaking awesome IF one would fit. Just dreaming.

Turbo makes easy efficient power that’s easy on the motor , no belt issues etc , I use to have a blower , only down side is a proper turbo kit has to be hand made, I have a buddy who has made a single turbo kit for C6’s, he did alot of my kit, dm me on ig for info on that, far as overdrive transmissions for c5 / c6’s there are no options, 400 is the best way to go, proper rear gear you can still drive it around all over town , and should you ever need a rebuild it’s a fraction of the price of what od transmissions cost to fix ,

Might of missed it, but what rpm stall is you torque converter? Was thinking 4000 will help get on the limiter quick.
@@CZ-kz7ug this type of converter doesn’t have a specific stall number , if I had to guess I’d say 3500 range, it’s designed for the combo itself whoever it lights up very fast now that I added a dump valve. It’s sticky bc it’s a small motor with a large single making a lot of power so you can’t loosen the converter too much bc then on high boost it’ll push through it so it has to be on the tight side to be able to lay down high boost power 🍻

I know this video is very old, but im curious of what Transmission, clutch, and associated upgrades were done to handle this much power? Also was car factory ECM or something aftermarket?
@@JimBob-wy7tl very old haha , the car had a monster triple disk clutch back then , factory t56 , stock ecu , t56 magnum would be the ideal upgrade but unfortunately it’s not made for corvettes so I went with the TH400 setup I developed and have been running for awhile now 👍🏾

How is your fuel pressure regulator mounted?
How did you do the th400 swap. I’m trying to swap one in my c6 but but rpm transmissions quoted me 21k for parts alone

@@jsanch1892 I have the issue sorted , this car has air conditioning lol so there’s no place to mount a mechanical fuel pump assembly , I do not want to ditch ac ever but it’s sorted now , I’ll have a new video in January going over it or maybe sooner

I want a z06/FRC. I've got a Challenger Hellcat and the Corvette would be a good stable mate. Probably go centrifugal for the street. I've got a Whipple going on the Cat.

Might be worth a try adding some beater bomb style suspension travel to help send energy to the rear tires. Just some. Hes almost a prerunner at this point.
