You are correct. From Wikipedia: Outside Italy the album is called Mysterious Venice and presents a different order of the songs. In particular, there are the two unpublished Cameo and Porta d'oriente, Arabesque has the new title Mysterious Venice, Ancient fairy tale has been divided into two parts and the song Profumo d'oriente is absent. Bought this album but with a different title,GP Riverberi in 1993.Absolutely superb.Ive got most of his albums and this one to me seems as though it is his first album to have electric guitars as the lead instrument as previous albums featured classical guitars.
You could be right about this being their first album to feature electric guitar as lead instrument. This is my favorite song from this album. The early part of this song lulls the listener into thinking this will be mellow throughout, but it doesn't. At the 01:24 mark, the first change happens, and at the 03:00 mark, it gets going really well. The first part of this piece up until 01:24 is the mellow section, then the second part from 1:24-3:01 is the semi-mellow section, then 03:00 to the end is the third and final section, where the fullness of this masterpiece happens. So, they go from mellow (1st section), to semi-mellow (2nd section), to glorious symphonic rock (3rd section). I really like the first section; I love the second section; I really love the third section.
