Trailer THE THREAD OF WATER 1'30"
I met the last Master of Sea Silk, CHIARA VIGO at the International Festival of short films by women "A CORTO DI DONNE".
On that occasion the Master issued an invitation to the directors there present to come visit her in her "room" in Sant'Antioco and shoot a movie about her that would awaken souls and raise awareness in the world about Byssus Sea Silk.
Today, due to an absurd arbitrary decision by the Mayor of Sant’Antioco, the Museum has been closed.
The petition launched by Maria Grazia Cucinotta which garnered over 19,000 signatures from all over the world failed to move the authorities.

Complimenti! Questo lavoro a sei anni di distanza conserva ancora freschezza ed attualità per le problematiche che tratta e solleva. Col tempo si fa apprezzare di più, come il buon vino.
