I said I would never own a 'small' dog, I breed and raised Labradors and had other 'big' dogs in my life, however, my curiosity got the best of me a couple years ago and I was smitten with the breed. I have had my tri color Corg, for 3 years now and I can never see myself without one in my life going forward. They are such a joy with a 'big' dog attitude. I totally love them.

I have four huskies and an Alaskan malamute and I’d have to say one thing about them is they are very well mannered dogs ,regardless of how much energy they have or how many holes they dig in the yard ,they are amazing pets to have around friends and family

I loved watching your video. I have had 7 of these gentle giants, getting my first one at 17 years old. He lived to be 13+ and I took him everywhere. Out of the next 6, 2 lived to be 12, 1 to be 10 years, one 9+, and one died of leg cancer at 5 1/2. I currently have one that is a year and 5 months old. They are a joy with a unique and loving personality. I can’t imagine not having one- but I can imagine what it would be like without slobber!😂

I am on my second Corgi. They are really special and unique dogs. Ours is a true family member and keeps us on our toes. So intelligent, funy and has an astounding ability to know what we are thinking and saying. Also he is a master manipulator, knowing exactly how to get what he wants. Best dog ever - um ......except for the shedding part!

A year ago I got my first newfie. His name is mouse and he will be 2 in February. I've always laughed about velcro dogs, but now is the first time in my life that I really feel it. He never lays down anywhere he can't see me, has been nothing but gentle and sweet with my nieces and nephew, has never met a stranger, and loves with his whole heart. Sometimes I think he only has two brain cells and they're both on vacation, but that just makes him all the sweeter.

I disagree with trimming them in summer as a double coated breed the heat is insulated out, trimming breaks this mechanism, walking on hot pavement is far more likely to cause heat stroke as dogs regulate their temperature throughout stewier feet. Loyal - loyal describes the behaviour not the personalty - a loyal dog won't allow other people to groom it or command it unless very well socialised from, a young age. Aloof - also a behaviour - means that they don't recall well, they don't always listen to you, they ignore you completely at times. or can passive protest and just lie down and not move at all, usually a few block from home on the return journey.. The information on training is spot on. Some of the footage is of Tibetan Mastiff and not Chow Chows. The blue tongue, like the Sharpie, arctic fox, polar bears is common amongst animals that evolved in cold climates, it's hypothesised that the darker colour absorbs heat from the sun much more than a pink tongue..

I have a Pembroke and a Cardigan bc I could never keep them straight. With one of each it’s easy. Love them both. Cardi is easy going while the Pembroke is bossy and a bit on the stubborn side.

We have owned PWC’s since the mid 90’s, almost no one knew the breed when we got started. One thing I will say: they’re cute and they’re smart enough to know it. Exceptionally intelligent. They are the most manipulative breed of dog I have ever owned. And we love them for it.

I wouldn't do well with Belgium melaleuca . They need alot of exercise. I have a shetland Sheepdog. She needs alot. Not as much as a belgium melaleuca. They are so smart and beautiful.
