Thanks, yes, very big tree, i didn't show it in the video, but we got stuck many times. There was so much tension from all angles, so it was a slow process but safe work :)

@@nicolaisvlog8701 it is height. It seems that the chain of the saw was too tight and you yourself checked it several times. I realized for myself that optimally, when you stop gassing, the chain should slide a little along the metal base, and not stop immediately.

@@nicolaisvlog8701If the chain is too tight, higher engine revolutions are required to rotate it. I hope the saw will serve you for a long time. I understand that was first try, all okay. Good luck.

haha year, it's not all the time i climbing all the way up, in the tree, but better then taking, a big piece. Easier to control smalle pieces

The major brands offer parts availability for at least ten years after they manufacture a saw. After that, the aftermarket takes over. Insofar as gas power tools are concerned, there will be major business opportunities for both the aftermarket and small businesses that keep the "old stuff" in service. It will be at least a decade before you see any real significant drop-off in gas powered tools being used - especially at the pro level. Meanwhile, electric will certainly move in on the gas powered equipment, and when the battery weight/life and motors start improving at exponential rates, you'll definitely see gas stuff start to wane. I certainly wouldn't worry about parts availability for gas powered equipment. Even if states outlaw their use, they will grandfather in all of the tools currently owned.

Hej Lars Det er en flerårig uddannelse 3,5 år 20 uger på Roskilde grundforløb og det sidste på skovskolen i Nødebo i Hillerød, kan også tages i Jylland.

Yeah kind of, would have loved some dead eye slings, as you used on your job, they are just to expensive for me.

@@nicolaisvlog8701 That understandable. Two of mine were spliced at home and the third is the one I normally use for my rigging block 😅 I can't afford dedicated crane slings either, they're super strong, but so expensive.

I cut into my friction saver, in a very stupid way, stil had it on my Saddle on the way up. Aan I cut it because the wind picked it up, and into the saw 🙄 but otherwise it was a nice day 😊
