Thanks for this great new feature, can you explain the setting of AI context window width? By default it is set to 2096, i have a lot of vram so i can set this much higher but i'm not sure what it does exactly ?
You only need to increase the context width if you encounter context width exceeded errors in SpeechPulse. This error can happen when AI formatting lengthy audio files in the File mode and when using lengthy prompts, system prompts, and examples in the live mode. If the generated internal prompt passed to the AI model is longer than the context width, SpeechPulse will display an error message and terminate. Then you can increase the width to fix the issue. There are no other benefits to increasing the context width.

This software is working very well with hungarian subtitles (with the large database). It is actually better than other programs, and in top of these it is a one time fee!!! I recommend this instead of never ending subscription modells.

sorry, i really wanted to use / buy speech pulse. (first red flag was that it is only 20$ one time). Maybe you should offer a cloud based version so the processing will be faster, and the app will be More lightweight and responsive (and accurate) - ie audio sent to cloud for processing (and clearly a subscription model but keep price low pls) . i tried it out and its way too slow and unstable. (only half of sentences would be typed out and i was testing in windows notepad!) the app takes nearly 10 seconds to launch. even the editor does not do what it says (It says it'll have a log of all your previous dictations, mine was constantly blank). hopefully it will get better. (im on a highend HW win11 system too ) will check back in a year or so. tks
Hi, Thank you for your feedback. What are the specs of your PC? Do you have a GPU? Currently, we only focus on offline transcription using Whisper models. We will also consider the possibility of API integration in the future. Thanks.
