Brilliant Dave. Have you ever traced your family line? I have. My father came from a Mcclean family in Ballybay Co Monaghan. McCleans came into Ulster from west Scotland way back in the early 1600s. There may well have been several name spelling changes along the way. Keep 'er lit. The weather is such let down!
@TomMcClean my brother has done a bit of research, originally all the McCleans came from the Isle of mull. Have you ever been over? The head of the McClean clan lives at castle Duart and when you visit as a McClean you get to sit on the throne lol. We're going over in July to it. My dad's side have always been in and around the Dungannon Cookstown area mainly. Visited a few of the old church of ireland graveyards to look for old McClean headstones and found some from 1800s
Wow this is very good! We have the family tree dating back to the 1670s. My brother has been to Mull and visited the Duart McClean Castle. McCleans come there from all over the world. I checked out a McClean graveyard at Creevagh Ballybay. It's hard to find old graves because many folks were buried without headstones ( They either didn't want one or they couldn't afford them. ) and headstones and the writing wear away after a few hundred years. I have done a number of old graveyard walk arounds. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills. ( I am originally from Banbridge where my dad was a ps teacher. His old school building ( Ballydown PS ) is in the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. I've been and filmed it.

Yeah I've seen all your graveyard videos, I'd be interested in history myself as well and old railway stuff. I think the first video of yours I watched was in an old railway tunnel that you slipped in the beginning. There's a tunnel in dungannon still apparently but not sure where. Keep up with the videos, I must try and take some myself this summer and upload more. All the best
