    Nice to see the API test kit really good video too. Sad news about the algae eater. how often do you feed them by chance. There are only a few in there. it could be that or from plants breaking down. I'm battling with ammonia levels right now it's really annoying.

    • @geez1960
      @geez1960 3 місяці тому

      I'm battling with Nitrites but no ammonia. Man it's tricky getting a tank to cycle. I feed them one wafer every other day. Unless i see it still on the bottom. One is now showing signs of a possible internal problem. Hanging poop and a swollen belly. I should've not put them in this size aquarium. It's the only one I have atm though. But it would take like 20 packets of General Cure at a time to treat. Hmmm. No money till next Month so we'll just have to go with it. i may start over anyway because I really don't like the substrate. If your ammonia level is rising that may be a good thing if it's a new tank. Your tank might be finally starting to cycle.

    • @levosa1234
      @levosa1234 3 місяці тому

      @@geez1960 that's nice to hear hopefully my tanks is starting to cycle. I know there are some things you can do at home to help them out a little. It just depends I'm not exactly sure. They always recommend aquarium salt but who knows how much that cost.
