Pretty happy with how this is turning out: - mixing 2d and 3d objects in a scene with RenderMesh - mixing 2d and 3d lighting - D2D destructible sprites - Corgi Engine - hand-drawn tilemap and art - flickering torch lights - tilemap shadow casters

Personalized Swing

This started as a 2x10 piece of Spanish Cedar that was jointed and planed to thickness. Then it was cut on the Shapeoko 5 Pro using a combination of Fusion 360 and VCarve Pro. The brass token was also cut on the CNC machine and embedded into the swing seat with epoxy. Pigmented epoxy was used to fill the California and Michigan pockets, then sanded to a polished finish starting at 220 grit and ...

Hope you can provide USB for firmware update ?
@@nguyennhatquang88 it was done at the dealer
@ I know, can u ask the technical who work on your car to share the files, I m very appriciate that
@@nguyennhatquang88 I asked Ferrari and they won't share the firmware files.
NICE BUILD
Thanks!
Looks awesome!
I like that sub placement!
Only $5, 000.00
Lol thanks for saving me the time to look it up. Unbelievable. I know it's nice and quality stuff but damn...you could buy an entire other vehicle for the cost lol.
Thank you for doing this
Hey Ryan - good video for those who like ADGU system for their GX460 w the exact 2 use cases like you mentioned (solo trips & family of 4 trips w fridge moved out at night in camp) I'm about to place an order - curious if you have the setup for hinged kitchen cover fold to the right vs screwed in. Thank you!
Hello!! What wood & bit size are you using?
I'm using different woods and bits depending on the project. This cut was just a 1/8 bit on scrap plywood. Check my other video for a more involved project (a swing) here: ua-cam.com/video/nua5gwP2IoE/v-deo.htmlsi=q6YYe60UdVY-DmiH
Did you mount the acrylic inbetween the rails, or did you screw them on from the outside or inside? Thank you! I thought about doing this but my garage isnt insulated, and we get lots of snow. Great job
I cut it to fit in the groove of the rails.
So much to do to just add ev to iot?
Nice setup , I will build mine soon. I am just wondering what are using for tie down ? I see a plate there
The platform has tie downs on it. I think there's 6 of them. I haven't used them though
Best design. I will build symilar too from extruded alu and plywood. What size plywood did they use? 1/2 inch?
I appreciate how clean you kept everything. Those trays are def printed..what machine are you using in the shop?
The trays are based on the gridfinity system. I'm printing them from petg on a prusa XL.
Just took a look at your repo. Will try to adapt it to my lexus is350 if you dont mind. There's tons of great information in your app!!! I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I had a hard time reverse engineering the original app. Will share new features/apps I come up with. Eventually would like to disable the popup of the old climate control app and build a new overlay on this app when you adjust temp outside of the app. Thanks so much for sharing and hopefully you will keep us updated!
Awesome! Note that there's a system setting to disable the overlay if you don't want it. Should be easy to disable there and build your own once you have the canbus ids to intercept. Let me know which canbus box you choose in the system settings and I'll see if I can pull the ids for you if they're different than the lx470.
@@ryansteckler1358 Hmm my reply never sent sorry. I believe we should have the same canbus boxes. Both canbus settings go LZ -> toyota -> lexus is -> no air (for my is) and no air amp (for lx470). I dont know what the difference between the two are though.
Just looked and it should be the same. Have you tried the Climate100 app on your car to see if it works? It might work out of the box!
@@ryansteckler1358 Your app works perfectly on my car! I also have been (slowly) exploring the vsettings app. One of the things I am trying to do is adjust subwoofer volume based on canbus volume, do you have any ideas or advice on how we can adjust the subwoofer volume within the teyes settings app. I have tried to reverse engineer the app (teyes settings) but I am a little overwhelmed.
@@kovit7023Great news! I believe there's a setting in the equalizer under subwoofer that allows you to toggle between a constant subwoofer volume or to have it change with the overall system volume.
So sick. Always blown away by the ADGU crafstmanship.
Cool idea; consider anchoring "backup chains/wire" somewhere to multiple heavy beams so if the lifting mechanism fails for whatever reason, it won't kill you dead.
Good call. The load rating on those motors is 400lbs and the platform is about 300. I'm also rarely under it, but still a great idea for an extra level of safety.
@@ryansteckler1358 it sounds like it's pretty close to maximum, if that's the case it will probably well exceed the maximum rating if the platform gets caught on something or drops slightly as drop inertia increases overall load. I'm no scientist but I think you get the point, you probably want something that can withhold over 2000lbs for a safety chain as I'm not sure how much weight a 300lb platform falling from a foot plus actually comes to. What I do know is it well exceeds 400lbs.
@@how.to.crypto I think I'll add chains to lock it up while it's raised. I would lock it with the chains then lower the motors slightly to take all the weight off of them. It already rests on legs while it's lowered. That means the only dangerous time will be in transition, during which I can avoid standing under it. Thanks for the recommendation. Good looking out.
@@ryansteckler1358 no problem, look forward to seeing the finished project in action 👌
Would love to see the final product.
Cool idea!
Hello could you share your app for testing?
I believe it will only work on the Toyota Land Cruiser and the Lexus LX470, but here's the app: github.com/rsteckler/Climate100/releases
@@ryansteckler1358anyway you can make one for the Lexus LS430?
@@kevinrivas7 I have some improvements on my list for this, but currently working on other projects. Not sure I'll get to it but will post a reply if I do
@@ryansteckler1358 please let me know will make a donation if it helps!
It's cool, but what do people do if they have a stretch band that doesn't have a clasp to open? You should have made it in a way that the band can wrap around something.
That's a great idea. Let me see what I can do.
Mine is doing the same. Did you find a fix?
I bought a new Plaid and it doesn't have this issue, so I'm not sure if they ever fixed it in the older model.
I have a 2022 Model X and it does the same thing. Very annoying
My 2021 Model3 have same problem, is this problem solved ?
Any backstory / explanation? Is it reproducable?
did u report it to tesla using your tesla?
I did. I have an email thread with them that's been going on for about 6 weeks as they try to diagnose it. I actually uploaded this video to show them what was happening. Still no resolution, but I'm hopeful.
I have the same problem
