The guy is giving you an intellectually feeble explanation of why Hassan's BITE model does not apply to Islam. If you look at Islam as a totality, yes sure it's not a cult. But when you look at what the living reality is for many Muslims ie. membership of Sufi tariqa with idiotic fielty to the infallible shaykh, hiding the differences between various sects. They sometimes don't even bother to tell people they are eg. Ashari/Maturidi, making it look like Xenu-level trade secrets, the cult mentality surrounding ON-PROMPT support for Palestine, you'll know what I mean when Gaza-protest-fatigue sets in, the belief that scholars are 'awliya' and criticizing them is akin to criticizing God himself, completely ignoring repeated instances of Wisam Sharrif popping up over the ages, ignorance about the difference between culture vs religion etc. But. It's very hard to escape cultism in modern life when ideas scale so quickly. Tons of cults exist today and nobody recognises them as such. corporatism, identity politics, in-group brand affiliation. God knows best.

We pray that Allah continues to bless the Iraqi armies for their ongoing fight for the cause. We pray that Allah blesses the armies from Khorasan (IRAN, Afghanistan, etc, etc) who will liberate the Holy Land. The best armies that Allah sent will endure until the end of time and the end of history. Thank you for your sacrifice as we all failed to do our duty. In an op-ed in the Guardian on November 1, 2017, Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas stated..."Palestinians" were the Jews who lived, along with Muslims and Christians on land called Palestine, which was under British administration from 1917 to 1948. All people born there during the time of the British Mandate had "Palestine" stamped on their passports. But the Arabs were offended when they were called Palestinians. They complained: "We are not Palestinians, we are Arabs. The Palestinians are the Jews".
