When the Cozumel port closes, no recreational boats can go out! What do you do if you have a week of scuba diving planned and they close the port? Find out what else there is to do! We make the best of it by exploring the island and finding great food, margaritas, a pirate ship, Mayan ruins, adventures, and craziness. Then we finally do some amazing scuba diving. where we see eagle rays, seahorses, huge moray eels, and more amazing marine life. We have dinner and drinks on a pirate ship!

Can someone please tell me if you need that room sabilazer after the deep dive???
We did this dive as a no decompression dive. About 135 feet was our maximum depth, then we did a 3 minutes safety stop before surfacing

Yeah lets encourage this behavior they're extremely docile and there bite doesn't hurt at all they don't have two Jaws and aren't a custom to eating shell fish like crabs,

Unfortunately, we never found a solution. Though we're not sure we had big spray on the first day
I’ve found wearing a light coat of oil to be protective: baby oil, jojoba, sea thorn…
Honestly this was so helpful. Thank you for honest reviews of these restaurants. We will use this guide on our next visit to Cozumel later this month!

Why is the port shutdown. Why no diving. What is being hidden?
When the winds are too high or the sea conditions are too rough, they shut down the port and no boats can go out.
@WTDTU I've been there quite a bit and it doesn't look that bad.
Yeah we didn't really think it was that bad, either. But we don't get to make the decision, when the harbor master closes the port, no boats can go out.

I see you guys made it to Camp Bay Beach, The most relaxing beach on the island. Did you get a chance to check out West End?
We did! We really liked Camp Bay and wish we'd had more time to spend there, it's a great beach. We stopped by West End later that evening. I felt like West End was a little more busy and touristy and liked the vibe of West Bay better, but we didn't spend very much time in West End. How often do you go to Roatan?
@@WTDTU we discovered it on a cruise back in 2011. We did a long stay in 2013. We hit a couple of other islands but, nothing was like Roatan. So we have been going down for the last 7 years consecutively it is a special place.
