@@atlanticpressurewashers Not for now.....we opened the top and looked at the Capacitor and the bottom looks swollen and there is a crack in the top, so I suspect at fault. Looking at a Ducati replacement is meant to be high quality....

No. A standard size garden hose is fine. DO NOT USE the elastic style garden hoses. Those do restrict flow. Sure, a system with light pressure for the in-take water is fine. Kranzle doesn't need it if under a 3 FT vertical draw.. As seen in the video, it's a non issue. The Kranzle creates the suction and will pull in the water with no issue.

Hi. In our opinion, there is no comparison. Pump to pump, the Kranzle pumps are superior through all around quality. Also, their plungers are hollow where the Kranzle plungers are solid. Slight variations in operation also give a longer service life. Additionally, Josh Lee, the Original Josh has provided this insight. "The Comet K250 doesn't have the same type of "stainless steel plunger with ceramic lamination/veneer". It has a crankshaft style pump with the "ceramic sleeve plungers". Those are the type that crack when they freeze. "

In this set up, no. The Kranzle is perfectly suited to pulling in the water and operating at expected performance levels.

Yup...but don't use the turbo nozzle on your goat or gel coat on the boat. ;)

You always want to use a filter. Stuff falls in the tank and the filter prevents it from getting into the machine.

Hi. Standard garden hose. 22MM connection to the Kranzle. Standard connections from tank/filter to hose.

No. This is a gravity fed set up and it works perfectly. That's one of the advantages of the Kranzle pressure washer pump. It is self priming and creates the suction where gravity fails.

Good morning Robert, in most cases I would agree with you. However, this is a Kranzle 1622 which features a very different style pump than what most are used to. Due to their unique design you can safely run these without water for short intervals and no damage will be done to the pump. This is actually one of the ways you can prep these pumps for storage, by simply disconnecting the water inlet and allowing the pump to discharge all of its cavities it in essence can prolong the life of the pump head. @@heitspii6231 Usually when the capacitor is bad the motor will hum when the machine is switched on. It won't spin or anything, just hum.

My 2160 TST was blowing fuses, opened up machine and found capacitor lid blown off with some melting internally. Kranzle charge a fortune for replacement capacitors, I'm pretty sure they use Facon, mine is 70uf

We were doing a demonstration of how to change the capacitors and used a new unit for the demo.
