I used to attend a Methodist church and we once got a pastor that showed up not even owning a bible. His sermons were VERY dry and he looked like he dreaded being up there facing the congregation. One Sunday he just stood there a few minutes then burst into tears saying that he couldn't do this anymore. A few days later he left. We used to go through pastors about every 2 years because the "family run" church were so critical. Glad I quit going and now I just practice my own religion.

Catholics don't pray to statues any more than Protestants pray to pictures of their friends and relatives or statues of famous people in parks. And we're tired of the lie. The fact that Protestants have to tell outrageous lies about the Catholic faith reveals the weakness of their heresies. If their theology were true, they wouldn't need to defend and prop it up with lies. So obvious, if you aren't so blinded by your lies that you've lost all ability to think. If you want to know what Catholics really believe and practice, read the Catechism of the Catholic Church. If you think you have a more reasonable and biblically defensible faith than that, argue for it rationally, instead of passing on slanders made up by that lunatic OCD obsessed "Pope Luther" or the English heretics who betrayed Christ to gain stolen Church property and possessions for their own private use. Guilty consciences tend to lead to lies.
