Positive Psychology in Films: Remember the Titans
I have come to learn, that these films, all films are mediums of social conditioning/engineering.
Ray seemed more disappointed than hurt by Gary, guess he never did considered him a friend
I have loved this movie for years. And thanks to your commentary, I am learning so much about why this film resonated so deeply with me.
2:48
Yeah I don't like how Gerry wanted to kick Ray out of the team. Because football is football and you shouldn't play favoritism just because you're the Captain of the team.
gerry kicked ray out of the team because he intentionally got rev injured, not because of favouritism.
Ray isn't the one that tackled Rev to get injured. Which means it wasn't intentionally. Because it wouldn't matter if it was intentionally. Because I'm siding with Ray 100%
I played high school football around the turn of the 90's in a very small, liberal community in Arizona. We took showers in an open shower area, no shame in that game. It was back in the day when boys were boys and girls were girls, a very few were bent the other way. The minority now dictates.
Ok boomer.
They ruined the movie with gay innuendos. It was a good movie on integration between race, can't see the gay thing in the 60's, wish we could go back.
Seriously…you must be kidding
He isn't kidding. Because I would like it too.
Interesting that Lastik is not racist in this film but in American History X……well…..
Over under drop pop crackle snap cutthroat into hold of 🕳️
"Up until 1971, there was no race mixing and then the school board forced us to integrate" That's a lie. School integration in VA started in 1965, the year after the Civil Rights Act became law.
The white boy got a lil rhythm going on 😂😂😂😂 and the other white boy mad cause he keeps dancing lol 😆😆😆 let that man dance
@A O 😂😂
Don't let that man dance.
No, Ray. YOU threw away our friendship over them. I done TOLD you.
No, Gerry threw away their friendship by cutting Ray off the team for them.
@@thefighter5182 Ray is not the friend you want to have anyways
Ray is the friend that I do want to have unlike you.
Lastik now is buff yo.
Hatred will break nations -Uniting will bring us all peace.
If you want peace you gotta go to the Prince of peace the Lord Jesus Christ you won’t find peace anywhere else
Only Denzel can say SURE like that
Denzel had 2 remind them he played Malcolm X
Sorry but you cut out about 1h 43min of the best parts.
6:12!!!!
6:32!!!!
7:15 mountain huh
4:39! They don't block for me hopefully next level do.
3:39 Didnt realize till today Ray was foreshadowing what he was going to do to Rev
solid take
@@branmcg9844 Ya and while kicking Ray off the team cost Gerry his friendship with him, he gained a far better friend in Julius
Gerry lost a friend because Gerry wanted to cut Ray off the team. Because Ray and Gerry were always friends until Gerry wanted to cut Ray off the team. Yeah it seems like Ray is better off without him because of that.
@@thefighter5182Ray didn't want to block for Rev because he was Black. Ray was a cancer to the team.
Favorite part was when Julius went to see Gerry in the hospital. He loved his friend dearly, and thought the world of him. Called him Superman. Really just showed how much respect Julius had for Bertier.
3:54-4:01: Ray did that on purpose 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Yep, he was a racist asshole
But he swore to god 😱😱😱
4:40 Butier upheld his beliefs
I feel like ray crashed in to Gary car because he was mad at him for getting him kicked off the team
My favorite part of this movie was when the white people and black people did things at the same time.
What?
@@firehart32 ha I was making a joke about how the movie is just black people and white people doing stuff.
@@bassbeardiful lol I had a feeling it was a joke 😂
Kind of ironic that Lastik played a Neo-Nazi in American History X.
Gosling’s previous movie was The Believer as well.
Boone played Malcolm X.
Im the 420th like
Top 3 favorite movies! I love this movie. It's less about football and more about equality
Would you mind sharing the other 2 of your favorite movies?
Ray became President.
Dick Hammerbush HaHa!!! Funny guy 😆
No
Yes
I seriously loved how much we watch this movie for counseling
Between coach carter and coach boon we all had a true father figure to look up to
Frfr
Amazing movie
Awsome movie
Titans. Shows color doesn't matter.
It does nowdays, people are waking up to the fact integration was a terrible idea
@DeadCraft Dawn00 and what is your reasoning for that statement
@@hoteltrivago1380 seems like the media wants to segregate everyone now
@@deadcraftdawn0094 You didn't pay attention at all during this movie did you? 100,000 sperm and you were the fastest?
hola liby de donde eres me gusta tu material
