    Great video. I just planted Asparagus seeds for the first time this year and they are doing great.. After cutting down in the winter, you add 4 to 6 inches of mulch? Do you remove that mulch in the spring? My question is because if I keep adding 4 to 6 inches of mulch each year my raised bed will over flow lol.

    A clean and pure heart is a heart that is circumcised. It is written in Jer9:25-26: “The days are coming,” declares the LO-D, “when I will punish all who are circumcised ONLY in the flesh - Egypt, JUDAH, Edom … For all these nations are really UNCIRCUMCISED, AND EVEN THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL IS UNCIRCUMCISED IN HEART.” So here we see that JUDAH and the WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL is UNCIRCUMCISED in the LO-D’s sight. For the circumcision NEVER meant on flesh ALONE (Jer4:4, Lev26:41, Ac7:51). But how to circumcise our hearts? As Moses used knife, we shall use the SWORD - which is his WORD (Heb4:12) as it is written in Ro2:26 (25-29): "If those who are NOT circumcised KEEP THE LAW'S REQUIREMENTS, will they not be regarded as though THEY WERE CIRCUMCISED?" He also said in 1Co7:19: "Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. KEEPING GOD'S COMMANDS is what counts." The circumcision of the heart is a MUST to those who will minister before the LORD (in the holy of holies - Eze44:9). First was given to Abraham as it is written in Ge17:13-14: "... my covenant IN YOUR FLESH is to be an EVERLASTING COVENANT. Any uncircumcised male... will be cut off from his people; he HAS BROKEN MY COVENANT." (FLESH not only means physically, also spiritually means those ‘Christians’ whose mind set on the flesh - which “is hostile to G-d, It does not submit to G-d’s law, nor can it do so.” - Ro8:7) Yet Paul's word seems contrary to it as he said in Gal5:2-12: "Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all ... " Even James - Jesus brother questioned him in Ac21:21: "... you teach all the Jews ...to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children ..." But what Paul against is that some Jews tried to ADD CIRCUMCISION to their belief to be saved (Ac15:1-2, Jn3:14-16,36), he even cursed them to "go the whole way and emasculate themselves" (Gal5:12). For salvation is for ALL who BELIEVES as it is written: 1/ Jn5:24: “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and BELIEVES him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has CROSSED OVER from death to LIFE." 2/ Jn6:40: “For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and BELIEVES in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." (Yet Jesus also said to the woman who were caught in adultery that brought to him in Jn8:11, “Then neither do I condemn you, go now and leave your life of sin." (Which is breaks the law - 1Jn3:4) Our God never change (Mal3:6), he said in Dt30:6: "The LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may LOVE him with all your hearts and with all your soul and live." (How to show your LOVE to God and others? - 1Jn5:3, 2). So let NOT the Jews boast about the physical circumcision or try to gain their righteousness by observing the law, yet FAILED (Ro3:20, Gal2:21), NOR Christians boast that they are under grace, thus they reject the law; But let ALL WHO LOVE THE LORD keep his commands (Jn14:21, 1Jn5:3) - The Ten Commandments - the EVERLASTING COVENANT that God made with Israel (Ex34:27,28, Dt4:13, Ps105:8-10). And we as gentiles - the wild branches can be grafted in through the blood of Jesus (Ro11:11-24, Eph2:11-22, Ex24:8, 1Co11:25); And HE is faithful to keep his covenant (Dt7:9, 4:31, Ps89:34) that will be written on our heart (Jer31:31-33, Eze11:19-20, 36:26-27). Those who will serve the LORD in his presence are those who are IN COVENANT relationship with him, and the tribe of LEVI has been chosen (Nu8:11, Dt10:8-9, Jer33:19-22, Mal2:4-5,8, 3: 3-4); those who keeps his Sabbath day holy (From Friday sundown to Saturday sundown) as God MADE it holy (Ge2:3, Eze20:12, 36:24-27) and hold fast to his covenant (Isa56:2-8), Thus they became circumcised in their heart (Ro2:26, 1Co7:19, 2Co3:3, Php3:3, Col2:11) - a kingdom of priest, a holy nation (Ex19:5, 1Pe2:9). Never to be removed. Amen! Be blessed...

      There are many questions and misunderstandings about the law of G-d! We all know that the laws, commands and decrees are WORD from G-d's mouth, thus are TRUTH and endures FOREVER (Ps119: 89, 142, 151-152, 160). Jesus said in Mt5:17-19: "UNTIL heaven and earth disappear, NOT the smallest letter, NOR the least stroke of a pen, will by ANY MEANS disappear from the law ... " Jesus is often spoke against Pharisees, but NOT the law itself as it written in Mt23:2-3: Then Jesus said to the crowds (World?) and to his disciples (Are we?): "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you MUST OBEY THEM AND DO EVERYTHING THEY TELL YOU" Even Paul said in Ro3:31: "Do we, then, nullify the law BY THIS FAITH? NOT AT ALL! Rather, we UPHOLD THE LAW." He also said in Ac24:14: "I believe everything that agrees with the law and that is written in the Prophets" Yes, we are not under the law, but under grace. Yet we are not free to forsake or break His law which is sin (1Jn3:4). Rather, let The Law be written in our heart by the power of the Holy Spirit (Jer31:31-34, Eze11:20, 36:26-27). Outside the law is lawlessness - those who will hear the Lord say to them "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! (or lawlessness)(Mt7:23). But the 'Perfect law that GIVES FREEDOM' (Jas1:25, 2:12) they are in my lord's heart (Ps40:8), surely they are precious to me as it says: "Blessed are they whose ways are BLAMELESS, WHO WALK ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF THE LORD." (Ps119:1) and "whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water..." (Ps1: 2-3). Finally, let this word encourage all who strive to sin no more: "It please the LORD for the sake of his righteousness, TO MAKE HIS LAW GREAT AND GLORIOUS (Isa42:21). Amen! Blessings…

    14:23 God did not tell you he's proud of you. He couldn't have. For it is impossible for God to sin, and pride is sinful, says the LORD in His word, and He is unchanging. However, perhaps he's PLEASED with you. Big difference. 😉

    Mark I hope you get this message. I started my woodchip garden in 2014 after watching Back To Eden video. I have a tremendous garden. It is so easy to take care of, it’s an 80’ by 80’ backyard garden. The reason I want you to get this message is I’ve learned to plant a cover crop in the fall which I kill out in the spring. I do this for 2 reasons. First to continually have roots in the ground which will build the soil and give food for all the microorganisms. 2nd is the cover crop will mulch the top of the garden all year long. Half of my garden now is this mulch cover and the other half have a woodchip cover. I’m actually in the tree business and I have a wood chipper and have access to all the chips I need. I actually prefer the mulch over the wood chips now that my garden is established. Per your video - I DIDNT GIVE UP and God has blessed my garden tremendously. God Bless You Mark, Steve Miller

    Mr. Mark, A clarification, please. Do you cover the seeds with woodchips once planted, or leave the earth exposed until germination happens? I think I remember you saying to place the chips once germinated, but can't find the video. I am a bit nervous about covering my carrot seeds, but don't want them drying out either... Any advice, carrots, covering, etc. are welcome! P.S. I just watched a video from your wife at home, and am going to discuss the possibility of front yard gardening with my husband. Very inspiring! Many thanks to you both! A B2E gardener that started this fall- AllAmericanMama

    We live in Qld, Australia. I luv Back to Eden Gardening but where we are "nut grass" / "nut sedge" is domineering , so I put a 2 feet wood chips blanket down. It killed all weeds except for the "nut grass" or "nut sedge" which grow into a thick'd, a horror nightmare in no time. I wish someone could respond to this ignored topic?

    • @MrWookie21
      @MrWookie21 6 місяців тому

      Hi, maybe you should first use a black plastic tarp laid on the soil for a season (at least during fall & winter) before putting wood chips on the cleaned area if you have enough space. @ 02:16 we can see he's using a white textile fabric ; I don't like that idea though, since it blocks earthworms to provide aeration to the soil. Some use cardboard instead before mulching with wood chips the first year. The only trouble with wood chips is that it's a high carbon source that needs nitrogen to be decomposed properly and provide organic mater to the initial composition of the soil by making humus. A simple way is to use diluted urine (1:10 water) at this stage. So it's only recommended to use fragmented or shredded ramial wood once @ start, then every 5 to 10 years to "rebuild" a soil that has been depleted of natural source of humus, like dead leaves & dead branches falling on the ground. Then using compost or manure on beds for the croppings needing such requirements for the following seasons.
