I been planning to do the same, I have the same suv, I bet it gets better gas mileage without the heavy back seats, I don't need them in mine, thank you for sharing these videos, I was hoping there would be more room with the seats out, but that will work for me.

I just bought one yesterday at Walmart for $44+tax. No kidding. The lady said it was discontinued or something. A friend of mine had one on a camping / fishing trip we went on for about 3 days. It did great in our Jon boats keeping our beer and water cold for about two days without re icing. We did re-ice the third day though. I already have too many coolers but I know I got a great deal on this buy.

thanks for the video! fyi, turns out it’s a 14mm bolt, apparently japanese cars use metric system. noting bc i busted a 9/16 adapter trying to get out a particularly stuck bolt, but a 14mm adapter with additional leverage got it out okay 👌

How do u get the head rest of my seatbelt is stuck around

A piece of rug and an air mattress does the job. There is storage between the back seats, between the middle seats, where the spare tire is located, in a small storage compartment the car has in the left rear, and in the left back area. So, no platform needed.

Does it really makes more headspace? I wonder because these metal bars in the medal seems to be quite high compair to the rest

People often forget that they need access to the spare tire! Your ability to raise the bed solves this problem

Raise the bed higher for storage underneath. You can then place drawers.

It is now Dec 2022. Walmart has the raised the price to $100. That's a 34% increase from when this video posted two years ago. That's outrageous! Anybody get any of those 34% raises at work?!
