No point being passionate about a game made by devs that are not. I like GW2, but let's be honest here: 95% of Janthir Wilds was just copy&pasted content from previous expansions. Copying old quests and replacing the NPCs with bears is hard to get excited about if you're not a furry.

Definitely agree about the “expansions “ and patches. The expansions feel more like short living seasons and the patches feel worse. Unpopular opinion but I kind of feel Anet is putting GW2 in a mini maintenance mode without saying they are doing it. It feels like a slow, gentle wind down to the game. I appreciated your content and hope you find what makes you happy:)

This is my go-to channel for GW2 news. I like that news is to the point. But I think as time has gone on, as a viewer, I didn't feel like I could keep up with the sheer number of videos coming out. My favourite content is your news and fashion vids - I would love to keep seeing those. But do enjoy your break and I look forward to what the new year brings to the channel.

well for me my quit is because tyria its like gta 5 online it is total anarchy whit the hacks and the bots.....

isn't the whole point of the way gw2 is structured that you can take a break at any time and come back at any time ? :D

Hey I havent played gw2 since feb of last year but I used to run with you every morning 7-8am est when you were squading up. Starting at triple trouble. I made 1000's of gold and was going form the leg armor but life got in the way. I see now how you feel. Its part of life big dawg. We all know Arena net will cook. Shit maybe when we are 40-50 years old we will be playing gw3 together. Love you man. Mery christmas.

I love gw2 but I take long breaks from it. It's the kind of game where you can really dig in for a bit and get burned out. I'm impressed you were able to focus on the trains and the content for as long as you did. Life is short, there are lots of great games. Taking a break is a positive thing.

It is hard to make new content when there really isn't any. I have been feeling that there isn't much to do besides dailies and weekly stuff so unless there is a festival going on I play about as much in a week as I did on some days. I agree with you that gw2 patches not engaging as before (even I play gw2 late) and story feel like not exciting like HoT and PoF. I hope next patch will bring joy and exciting like it is used to be.

ppl cant even imagine what kind of shit comms had to deal with boon supports... its like fk kindergarden when half ppl cant talk and other half needs 1-3 mins to respond. and when you tell them what to play they gonna ask you 3 mins later "Im playing qheal?" so you need to scrooooooooooooool up and check that person acc name (bcs he swapped chars naturally) figure out if hes indeed qheal in his group and you can tell him that yes you are buddy. peak of gaming are ppl which playing in off-line mode so you cant even check acc name.

If they can ship guild halls with previewable decorations, they can do it for homesteads too. The system is the same, after all. Thanks for picking up on this Darens.

Despite having much greater money incomes , WOW is still running it's nearly 20 years old original game... but unlike Anet, Blizzard strongly encourage it's gamers to use addons to complete where the devs have no time to invest in. A game being old isn't really important, much older games than GW2 are still running well.... but Anet have the tendency to make a clean state and restart a new till next game... meanwhile threatening its gamers of a ban if using addons. Anet need to review its policies and allow gamers to create new addons to better the game... if it have no time to properly polish its mechanics between expansions.

When they released the Season 1 strike without Scarlet in it, I realized the game was cooked (even though the fight itself is very good).
