I built a great sand castle once. It doesn't last, sand castles never do, but it was worth every bit of effort I put in all the same. I took great joy in moulding it, and pride in looking at it once I was finished. When building a sand castle, the bucket you use is important. Sometimes you only have one, and that's fine. You can always put in details later once you have a rough outline all piled up. Oh, and the seashells are a must. You'd be surprised with what you can do with seashells you find just lying around.

Rewatched that last scene and for some reason it totally hit me real hard... cuz I actually spent a few hours reading about the lore and trying to connect the dots before rewatching the final duel. After watching it for the second time, I broke down. The meanings are so much deeper than what I thought and for some reason I did miss a few details that happened during that last duel that now make such a massive difference. It's such a perfect ending. Ambiguous, peacful, intense... perfect.

2024 represents a lot to me, but one thing i neglected to notice was how the moon played a huge role in the narrative. while on my journey, i prayed to the moon for good fortune, and i received some, but after the sun and moon met together, it was as though i was cursed. this year truly did feel like an odyssey out at sea... deep water... winter (hope)... summer (despair).... but most of all, freedom. as bad as this year ended, i hope to continue my journey in the golden hour of 2025.
