    What do you do with your mirrors. I am trying to switch mine over and they hit the tank. I know the right goes under the left and the left goes under the right ,or do you just tilt your z bars forward enough that they don't hit the tank? !!

      I fitted pull back risers in reverse so they curved away from the bike and that also flattened the speedo clock down looked much better

      @streetbob883 7 років тому

      Hi Peter yeah well spotted the bars are off Iron. cant make up my mind ither, I like the old skool look myself, but think cafe look would be more appealing to buyer, if I was selling.

    • @petergoddard1960
      @petergoddard1960 7 років тому

      streetbob883 possibly, but for me the tracker, with either these bars or, I think, the western bars you were running are the most appealing. Are you thinking of letting he Bonnie go?

    • @petergoddard1960
      @petergoddard1960 7 років тому

      streetbob883 delayed response, mate, sorry I'm mad busy working and restoring a house at the moment. Yes I have both the Enfield and the 72 and although I was contemplating a big twin, I think I've decided to stick where I am at least through this year. I love both of them, and I've plans to do some mods to the 72 which should make it more of a frisco chopper than the stock set up. Slam the back, 6" over forks, possibly a new seat, mid pegs, frisco bars, wire tuck, tank lift, the usual shit. Alternatively, it's entirely possible that I might say, fuck it, and trade up for a street bob, haha! Mind you, that Bonnie of yours is really nice, and looks a lot of fun. I much prefer the 865 to those new ones they've brought out. I had a test in on one a year or so back, and was pretty set on it until the local dealer went bust and over time the draw of another Harley became just too strong.

    • @streetbob883
      @streetbob883 8 років тому

      Hi Kyle ,there are stock mirror, but I have 2" curved pull back risers, that I reversed so they are curving away forward, from the tank, this also makes the clock sit down flatter, I think it looks better like that with these bars, you'll need a longer brake line if you do the same. cheers Sammy
